Country Music
So I'm throwing together a random mix country CD to use at work. A couple nights a week I usually do a Saloon girl costume and I love to play country then, but playing it then reminded me I love to dance to it all the time. I only came up with 15 songs but then I found an old country music thread on here and it totally helped me out. I just wanted to share my final list with y'all. Any suggestions are welcome except for Shania because she is a sell out to country music and so she sucks :P

Re: Country Music
<<gasp>>
Shania is a sellout???
How so???
anyways,im all about country, would love to help set the mood your looking for but dont see a pattern in what you listed other then just new stuff, good or bad.
One things for sure about country music(not just the fact its the leading radio stations acording to the white book in EVERY maijor market,to include NY NY,LA,and Chi town)its fans respond to "anthems"more then they do the "new"stuff.
describe the outfit and the mood ya want.

Re: Country Music
Blue Jeans and I wanna love somebody like you by Keith Urban are also good ones.

Re: Country Music
I'm not looking for a mood in particular, or to match any outfits. The club I'm working at is really laid back so everything is kinda random. I'm just putting together a random CD to hand to the DJ to play for me all night with any basic outfit. Those are just some of my fav songs to strip to. When I do my saloon girl theme once in a while I do pick my music more carefully. My fav set to do with that is Big & Rich: Rollin, Wild West Show, and Deadwood Mountain. That and anything with the kinda Tex Mex sound like My Heart Is Lost To You. This CD is just supposed to be good dance music in general. I'm working at a ghetto club in downtown Providence and they wouldn't know a country anthem if it bit them in the ass so it doesn't really matter what I play, I just play it to keep myself happy.

Re: Country Music
Can't go wrong with a little more Toby Keith.
A good song by him is "I love this bar" or perhaps "Whiskey Girl".

Re: Country Music
Hey Mike where in Canada are you? I'm from Vancouver and I've worked the circuit all over BC, a few places in Alberta, and Winnipeg. I also worked for 6 months as a house girl at No. 6 Orange.

Re: Country Music
The number 6 Orange?? lol, did it move up in the world?
There was a song the djs played for me in MT that was funny...no idea of title or artist, but the chorus went "I'm going to drink Canada dry before I die". It works.
Also, since you like Big & Rich, 'Drinkin' 'bout you' is good.

Re: Country Music
ROFLMAO! Oh shit! Ooops... Hell yeah No. 6 Orange! Damn that's bad. How's it going Scarlett? Did we ever work together, I can't remember. My stage name was Daytona before Daytona Roxxx hijacked it and then it was Foxey Blues.

Re: Country Music
I don't think so, but I remember a dancer by the name of Daytona- you were blond, VIPd at the Byrd?
I was at the Byrd one week (I lasted 3 days before I quit, lol), and I think I met you briefly.

Re: Country Music
