Do any of you dancers have any tips for an infrequent customer?
I don't get to visit SCs often enough. When I do get to go to a SC I usually bring $300 with me and usually leave with most of it because most of the girls seem to have regulars or would rather sit with another dancer.
When I first arrive I always sit at the stage and tip well. I also get a PD or two within the first 30 minutes of my visit. Then the dancer pretty much ignores me. I always behave myself. Like the sign says at Hooter's 'Be nice, your daughter may need a job some day'.
Anyway, am I tipping too fast or too well at the start of my visit?
Once I get a PD do the other dancers fell like I am off limits or perhaps tapped out?
I am 47 and old enough to be most dancers dad. Does that turn off dancers?
I'm not looking for extras or an OTC relationship.

Re: Do any of you dancers have any tips for an infrequent customer?
The problem here lies within the dancers. It seems if you want more attention, you're going to have to approach them. Yeah it sucks, but that just sometimes seems to be the case. And there's no such thing as tipping too fast or too much!

you can always tell abouncer to get a girl for you that your interested in.

Re: Do any of you dancers have any tips for an infrequent customer?
If I have to approach a girl for a PD should I just be blunt and ask her for PD or do I need to start a casual conversation first?
I did approach a dancer once that was sitting by herself at the bar, she was very cute and looked like she was in a bad mood. I walked up to her and said " I bet I can make you smile". She just gave me the 'oh no, another creep, look', but she said "ok, go ahead". I told her I'd buy two PD for $50( the going rate was $20 per PD). That lit her up. We had a good time until one of her regulars came in.

Re: Do any of you dancers have any tips for an infrequent customer?
You really shouldnt have to get a bouncer or a waitress to get a girl for you only if it is super busy and she doesnt see you. Rlams2000 nice to hear a custy helped cheer a dancers day up.
Sometimes I like the doctor approach. After youre few LD's and you want to spend more time with her but dont want youre money to burn fast or her no to get paid. Tell her to talk to a few more guys and come back in a bit for some more dances. This lets them know that they can do their thing then come back to have some more fun with you.

Re: Do any of you dancers have any tips for an infrequent customer?
What exactly is it you want from your SC experience? Do you simply wish to express some interest in private dances, or do you want to "join the club"?
Sadly speaking, dancers overdedicating their time to regulars is becoming a problem of sorts in low volume clubs (or low volume shifts at just about any club). I ran into a bit of this myself last night.
The fact of the matter is that regulars represent a steady stream of money during these down periods, and the girls don't want to lose such a customer because they interupted their "session" to go do a dance with somebody else. Of course, I wonder if some of these gals have evaluated things and realized sometimes sitting with a domineering and possesive regular may be costing them more money than it is making them, when it is sending the message to other customers that she is unattainable.

I know it kind of kills the fantasy aspect of it, but the best approach is to do the former. The stages are generally the best place to do this. You have to let a dancer know that you can be a better investment for her time than the guy she is sitting with.

Re: Do any of you dancers have any tips for an infrequent customer?
You might try a different club. There are always alot of girls at my club, some that sit and talk 1st, and others that do the wanna dance thing. But you would be approached by at least 10 girls at night in my club. Esp if you are tipping on stage. But, you have to leave the stage after a girl you like is done, because we can't ask for dances from guys at the stage. Also, if you are going during the day, you might try going at night. Day girls tend to have more regulars and there are not as many dancers on a day shift.
Being "old enough to be our dad" should not affect being approached. Generally guys over 30 have more $$ and we know this. Also, once I get some dances from a guy I generally don't go back to him because I assume he is done and don't want to annoy him. You need to say something like come back and see me later, or the girl will not come back. And you can never tip a stripper too much $$!
You sound like a great customer-I wish more were like you! Good Luck! Jenna

I love private dances. I like to see the dancers smile when I tip and then give me a hug. Going to a strip club is great stress relief. What's more fun than having a gorgeous girl treat my 47 year old 'fluffy' body like I was Brad Pitt?
Some guys I know will spend $100 to $200(ticket, parking, food, and beer) to see a football game. I'd rather drop that in a strip club.
My best strip club experience was with a dancer that would sit with me after the PD. She would get up and make the rounds or dance onstage but would always come back when there was no other business. She made over $200 off of me. She would have made more but her shift ended and she had to leave.
Do you simply wish to express some interest in private dances, or do you want to "join the club"?
What do you mean by "join the club"?

Re: Do any of you dancers have any tips for an infrequent customer?
Jenna, if it's appropriate to ask, what club do you work at? I also live in St. Louis. If you don't want to answer that I understand.

Re: Do any of you dancers have any tips for an infrequent customer?
The girls at that club are poor hustlers. There always seems to be a place in every area where the girls are mostly young, inexperienced and don't know how to make money. You should try other clubs. There will be at least one in your area where the girls know better how to get that $300 out of your pocket before you leave ;)
If you're leaving with most of the money you entered the club with, chances are you didn't have as good a time as you wanted / should have. If you're leaving without your cash, you probably had a good time. Find a club where the girls know what they're doing ;D

By joining the club, I mean developing some rapport with a particular gal or two and becoming their "regular".
The thought that regular customers have some type of priveledged access is really just a myth. They simply are guys that a dancer knows she can usually count on for a particular sum of money. Granted, there's a pecking order involved, but contrary to popular belief, it doesn't take thousands of dollars and once a week visits to be one.

Re: Do any of you dancers have any tips for an infrequent customer?
It sounds like you want the company of a dancer and the PD's that go with it.
I guess the frustrations I run into when I see the dancers not joining customers to make money is; It's not my job to make them, make money.
I always go to the same club when I go out of town. I know roughly what the girls make during a shift and that is my budget for the day. I want one dancer the whole time. I watch all the dancers and see who they are with. If they are sitting at the bar with what looks like a boyfriend, I make sure not to tip her on stage, I'm not interested. When i see one that looks friendly, unattached and she goes on stage, I make sure she see's me come to her stage. I tip her about $5 per song and then move to a booth when she's done. If she does not use this as an opertunity, she does not deserve to make an easy shifts money from me.
I want the company, I'll buy the drinks & she can do what she does best.
Rick
By the way; My record is 9.5 hours with one girl. It was the best evening and morning i've ever had in a club, possibly one of the best even out of the club. I'm going to see her in 4 weeks, I can hardly wait!

More frequent visits should upgrade your club skill level (its an acquired skill just like anything else) Regular visits will make you more comfortable with the whole scene and and help you identify how you should interact with all the players. Zeroing in on the ladies who want to earn your money can make a huge difference between a great visit or a bust. Accept the fact that some dancers are lazy (just like there are lazy people in all walks of life) and also that some dancers just plain prefer to hang out with regulars. Its not personal, its business.

As a guy slightly older than you with a stripper age daughter, I suggest you lose all thoughts that most of the dancers are young enough to have come from your loins. The whole point of going to a strip club is to see beautiful, young (but legal :) ) naked women. The dancers understand and accept that theres a high probability that they will be much younger than many of their customers.

Usually, throwing some decent cash around gets you lots of attention. After all, the dancers are working to make money.

Dancers have their own work rules but if youre sitting there available and alone, youre not off limits. As far as being tapped out, its reasonable for a dancer to assume that if youre still sitting there, you have money to spend.

Ugh...the age thing again. Theres nothing wrong with being your age and having a nice disposable income. Trust me, as long as you are presentable, behave within the boundaries of the club and have money to spend, I cant imagine that the dancers care how old you are. The "turn off" and "turn on" are non-issues. Its business. Just relax and have a good time.

Re: Do any of you dancers have any tips for an infrequent customer?
I'm sorry you are having problems finding the right dancer, but I'm sure you'll find her. If you came to my club and got dances, I would spoil you and make you feel great about yourself, because I like and respect my customers, provided they buy dances and keep their hands to themselves.
However, if you feel "ignored" by a dancer once you are done spending money on her, I don't find that unusual. Customers pay for time & attention. No money, no attention (no rudeness either, just a "well, I'd better get back to work/find my next victim/see what else I can do with this crowd/etc").
If you find a dancer you particularly like, maybe you could ask how much she charges for an hour of her time. Girls at my club charge $100-$200 for an hour. I put it this way: $100+ or 5 dances, which is not unreasonable because that's what I would make anyway.
The other suggestions were good too: approach a girl yourself or have a bouncer talk to her for you. Then just remember: RESPECT RESPECT RESPECT. The club has rules and unfortunately more often than not we dancers are expected to basically enforce them ourselves, with only the threat of the bouncers for reenforcement.

Re: Do any of you dancers have any tips for an infrequent customer?
rlams2000, either we are twins or we go to the same club. Since I am 40 and live in FL I doubt both but we have a very similar story. I have posted here many times the same problem, no matter what I do some girls just won't take my money. Of course I always go for the young very hot ones, but I am totally into the visual thing, so I guess young equals inexperienced equals doesn't know how to hustle equals me leaving with money in my pocket.

Since coming to this site, I have tried the ask for dances approach many times now. I'd say less than 50% of the time do they actually come to see me. (Yes, I smell good, am well groomed, dress nice, have money, and am very respectful and never a drunk.) Of the 50% that do respond, the dances have most always been disappointing. The words lazy and bored come to mind.
The best dances I have ever gotten are from girls that come to me first. If I am interested for sure I will say yes if asked. If I am not interested, I will always say a simple "No thank you."
As for the regular thing, it does tend to bother me when dancers who I am interested in seem to sit all night with another customer or boyfriend, don't seem to be getting dances, and meanwhile I have cash in hand ready to spend. However, through this site, I have learned that A) they might be getting paid to just sit, B) they might be lazy and don't care C) probably would not have been a good dance anyway. I like a girl who knows how to work me, makes me a sucker.
I also do not go that often, but at one club, one dancer considers me a sure thing. As soon as she sees me, it is bam off to the PD. She does not sit with me all night, but does pay attention to me whenever she is near. I was totally taken by her, until I realized that she is a great hustler and I like it.

Re: Do any of you dancers have any tips for an infrequent customer?
So what club are you going too? I'd suggest trying different ones, theres a good variety on the east side of the river. I'm sort of an infrequent visitor myself, it probably averages out to about once a month. Despite not being a regular, "regular" I've gotten to know several dancers who'll welcome me warmly when I do appear.
I usually go during the day, mostly because its not so crowded in the clubs. I think its easier to find dancers willing to sit and hang out a while during the dayshift but you're also in more competition with the dancers' regulars. Dayshift, the clubs are slower so the dancers are more apt to stick with a sure thing than take a risk with you.
If I see a dancer I'm interested in I'll go over to her stage and have a seat. I'll stay for the whole three song rotation, making plenty of eye contact and tipping nicely. The last time I tip her I'll inquire about buying her a drink or if I'm really worked up I'll just cut the bs and ask for some PDs. Usually just from the stage interaction I can get a pretty good feel for how friendly the dancer is. Kinda hard to describe on a BB but you can just get a sense of them.

Re: Do any of you dancers have any tips for an infrequent customer?
Janissary: I have frequented Penthouse, P.T.'s in Sauget, and Miss Kitty's. Sometimes I have good luck but usually I go home with half of the $300 I take with me. Hustler and Hollywood are next on my list of clubs to visit.
Forevernaked: Let me try to explain the situation a little better. When I first arrive at a club I buy a beer, get some dollar bills, and head for the stage. The first girl that asks to do a PD always gets a yes from me. We do the PD( I do behave myself) and chat for a few seconds and I fully understand that she needs to get back to work. After that the other girls stay away. I will go back to a stage while other girls are dancing and tip well. It seems like I rarely get any more offers for PDs. I never try and be with one girl during my visit, I like variety.
Would I be better off sticking with one girl?

Re: Do any of you dancers have any tips for an infrequent customer?
My advice is the best you will ever get regarding this situation. Take a weekend trip to Vegas. Go to ANY ANY ANY strip club out there, and you will have the exact opposite of your problem. You will be hussled so hard and so fast that your eyes will lose focus and your head will reel for days. Yessir, you need a vacation to Lost Wages, NV. For highest volume and most insane hustle, I recommend Spearmint Rhino and Crazy Horse II.
Hahahaha, damn I'm good. My ego will soon surpass BigGreens, buahahahahahahahaha!!

Re: Do any of you dancers have any tips for an infrequent customer?
If you live in St. Louis, Come down to Arkansas, Ft. Smith, and go to Cheyennes, We like to share. WE like a variety here to. I dont think you are that far from us.
If you dont want to find a new club, make sure the girls kow what you want. If a girl is by herslef or just with other girls, never feel bad about approaching her for dances. It makes our job that much easier. Also, girls might have the wrong impression of you, you may want to fix that. Just sit at the stage untill you find girls you want a dance with, ask them for a dance, when you are done, go back to the stage untill you find the next girl you are interested in and do it again and agian,. After a few times of going there, you will indeffinitly develop favorites and the girls will get to know you.
