NYC Newbie
Hi!
I am a ballet and musical theater dancer in NYC, and I have decided that I want to strip to support my dance career - I've been working in an upscale club for a few months but not as a stripper, but I have to work all the time just to pay bills and rarely have time to even take my daytime dance classes.
I think I could be fairly successful - my body needs work but it's not too bad, and I'm very outgoing and easy to talk to and get along really well with the customers. However, I have no idea where to audition in NYC, because I've never been to any club other than the one I work in. I would particularly like to work in one where the dancers do more actual dancing (even choreography would be great, if anyone knows if there is anywhere that they still do that anymore) and less time in private rooms.
Any responses or suggestions you guys have will be very much appreciated! Thanks!

Re: NYC Newbie
I'm really hoping this poster is not the same girl, since she also was a musical theater dancer who seemed to be somewhat new to stripping, but here's a bad, sad bit of news: http://www.nypost.com/news/regionalnews/58226.htm

Anybody recognize this poor woman?

I saw that story on the news yesterday... my mom instantly turned to me and said, "Do you know her?" I feel so sorry for that girl and her family.
