I had good meds. I didn't feel any pain. Just uncomfortable for about a month to sleep well. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be.
i was in a world of hurt for 4 days. it was worth it though. and with the meds youll mostly be sleeping anyway.
I didn't have a boob job...but pain is all a matter of how good your meds are and your pain tolerance threshold. It's also a factor of where the incision is and whether you have unders or overs...
I didn't have a boob job either, I was blessed with good boob genes, and I swim a lot to keep my girls in the same place they were when I was younger.
My best friend had hers done, unders, and said the pain was bearable after the first week. Her first week she didn't really get out of bed much because she was told to use her arms as little as possible. She said the worst was the 2 days following surgery. But she was so drugged those 2 days that she said she barely remembered them. I took care of her, and WHOA she was an honery bitch that first week! She cried a lot cuz she felt incapable of doing anything!
Phedre, I didn't know that swimming helped keep boobs perky! Does this really work?
I think it depends on the person. I was always a little chunky when I was younger and had boobs. When I got my boobs I had room to stretch the skin so the pain wasnt that bad. I will also like to add I have a strong threshold for pain, whenever I have bad mensrual cramps I would pass out. Therefore I think if you get boobs it depends on what you start with and your tolerance for pain.
Like I said I had room to work with plus I have a strong threshold for pain so it wasnt that bad. My friend was flat and has no pain tolerance so she suffered for a week. I think it depends on these 2 factors- what you have and tolarence for pain. If you always had a flat chest its going to hurt to stretch all that skin and mussel-if your already droopy it wont hurt that bad because you already have something to work with.
Big boobs, no pain, whatsoever!
I was in PAIN maybe it was fear ( first surgery . ) but i swear to god it was like a mac truck sitting on me. I couldnt take the pain meds as they made me throw up. And i didnt sleep worth a shit for a LONG Time.
I'd say you would a-ok...if you have sleep meds ( like ambien., pain pills and anti nausea pills that they can script you there. )
Just dont expect "no" pain.
I had under the muscle through the armpits. WELL worth it. as you can't see or feel the implants. But still I can say after 2 childbirths and "other" surgeries this was bar far one of the worst.
But worth the most in the long run. After a few days though you are feeling human again and within 3 months the swelling is gone.
So it's all a matter of patience and having some help with life for the first 2 weeks. Just so you can take it easy and heal correctly :)
pain is beauty, as they say...
for some reason
under the muscle, with a
under the arm incision, seems to be the most painfull.
I've had two BA's in the past 5 years. The 1st time was the worst. It kinda felt similar to when I was in a really bad car wreck and hit the sterring wheel. I took Demerols like it was candy and slept in a recliner for the first two days. After that the pain just turned to soreness.
I was in college at the time. I made it back to school within five days. I was back in the gym doing light exercises within 2 weeks.
The 2nd time I knew what to expect so it wasn't so bad.
Me too. No real pain at all, it was great. I was so excited to have new boobs that I wouldn't have cared even if there was pain. I was uncomfortable for about a week or two, that's it.Quote:

I'm not going to lie...that shit hurt like a muthafucka. I'm still hurting and it's been almost 2 weeks since I got them, but my doc told me that mine hurt so bad because they are unders...had they been overs I wouldn't have been in so much pain for so long. But I'll tell you this....the pain meds are a dream come true :D The pain is different for each woman...you might not hurt as bad as I did. I say go for it...go though the few days of pain to get a wonderful rack...it's worth it in the end.
My first one I was in pain for over a month, couldn't lift my arms up at all.Second one,the pain was for only 2 days, didn't even need the medication after that, just the antibiotics. It all depends on each particular case, you can't really tell.Your doc is the best one to ask for advice.
Mine are also unders. Not sure if those would be considered more painful than overs. I was also too excited to even care for it, lol. ;DQuote:

I got mine 5 years ago. Saline, under the muscle, about C/D cup. I remember it hurting so bad for about a week or 2 and then decreasing in pain as time went on. I was at the beach in a bikini after about a month so it must have been ok by then. The painkillers were great though.Quote:

PS I went from a small A too a large D under the muscle. 400cc and 425cc
