NY Newbie - bad experience
Hi Everyone,
I'm so glad I found this place. I've been lurking and reading posts here for a few days.
Well, my story:
So I'd been thinking about stripping for a while. I worked as a gogo dancer for so long and figured why not make more money.
After one of my dancing shifts I stopped into a club and they hired me right away and told me to get out on the floor.
Mind you, this was my first time in a strip club...period.
I had to have as many drinks bought for me as possible. Is this a normal thing? The vibes were not that great and I felt so uncomfortable. I'd ask questions of the bartender/ waitress but they really weren't helpful. If this one guy didnt come in and like me I'd have gone home with $0 as opposed to the measly $120 I ended up with.
This was about 3 weeks ago. I haven't been back. I was thinking of doing bachelor parties since the vibe would be a lot different, or trying a new club.
What do you think? Which is more lucrative? a club or doing parties?
Is that drink minimum thing normal?
Thanks for reading
Rayne

Well i try to stay out of the NYC clubs and hate clubs with drink hustles. I can go to the nicest clubs and restraunts dressed however i want but when i go to a strip club i have to wear shoes. So dumb.
Well if you do bachelor parties the pressure to do "more" is pretty strong.
If you are really hot you'll do fine in any NYC club.
Good luck
