At first I was thinking it was pretty cheesy, but she seems to have some moves she could help you learn. Worth the try if you are trying to get into dancing and don't know any polework.

I emailed her a while back before I started dancing at a club. I forget what her reply was exactly, but my question regarded learning just pole tricks. I think she said something about knowing real basic pole stuff only. I just remember not being interested after the response.
She did leave a friendly email reply though, and looks like she would be able to help a new girl who wants to get in touch with her exotic dance side, and learn dance moves in general.
I had just wanted to learn all pole work though.
Yeah she does seem to know basic stuff but she offers her studio for alone practice time tho and a lot of people just need to get on a pole when they aren't worried about what other people are seeing.

over in rittenhouse... i'm dying to try this.
I can speak on this and will once AGAIN break my exile to plug an actual FRIEND or two here. Jay is the bomb diggity and a GREAT dancer. He was used at Delilahs for the big shows and feature acts. GREAT guy. I have to assume that Gypsy mentioned is the multiple Delilahs entertainer of the year winner and yeah, the contests may indeed be rigged there, it takes NOTHING away from her tallent. So they both get my seal of approval.Quote:

Oh, masterjay's link is so much bettet than the one I saw!! SO MUCH BETTER!
PM me to synch up if you guys want to do this... maybe if we had a crew they'd give us a separate class so there's no stripper vs. bored housewife static in the regular ones.
I want to do that, then they could teach us more advanced tricks rather then the ones that everyone knows like spinning.
Yess i would be interested too. I do not want to learn those basic hips moves and stuff that the site talks about. All pole tricks =)
when do you girls want to do this I'm sorta broke until NOV.?
Okay. I just emailed the info address at the masterjaymoves website, telling him that a bunch of us were interested and directed him to the thread. Hopefully he'll be on in a day or two to answer questions, or get back to me so we can all work this out.
I'd love to meet all of you, too... exciting.
November sounds about right to me, too.
We would be happy to give you and a few girls a private rental of the the studio.

Hmm... So you want to learn pole tricks? I recently started a 'business' teaching pole dancing. I'ts similar to Elizabeth's (Wild-Side) deal except that you book a party and get a pole in your living room, which I think is great. You choose the attendees so you don't get the stripper/housewife vibe that another poster was concerned about. I don't want to plug myself too much here, but if no one minds, check out my site (sadly still in progress)...

I'm not a professional dancer so I don't have a lot of practical experience to actually 'train' a dancer, but I think I do well enough with the pole tricks. If you're already a pole diva you'd be better off showing me a thing or two, LOL. But if you're just starting out, check it out. It might be what you're looking for.
THANKS!
