portland, or
I've just moved to Portland and need some info about local clubs. I usually work at clubs like Scores and the Men's Club - are there upscale clubs like that around here?
And can anyone tell me where the stripper stores are? And a good wig shop?
Pretty much any info on dancing around here would be welcome. Thanks, girls!

Re: portland, or
There are a lot of threads on Portland in here; do a search and look at what comes up. There really aren't big clubs like what you are used to out there; the majority of the clubs in the city focus on the stage, not hustling.
I am moving there at the end of November and have personally decided to check out the Beaverton clubs first.
As far as stripper stores go, I only know of Spartacus, which is a fetish/dancewear shop on Burnside. I would love to know where the rest are if someone wants to share.
There is also the PDX Black Book, a site devoted to PDX strippers and clubs: http://pdxblackbook.com/

Yes, I've been reading the threads but was hoping there was some great upscale gem of a club that had gone unmentioned... I'm a hustler and couldn't put on an interesting stage show to save my life.
What factors made you decide to check out the Beaverton clubs first?

Re: portland, or
In Portland, stage is king. All of the dances are air dances, so a good percentage of your income is from stage. The more time you spend on stage, the better you will become, and if you just say you are new, the guys will understand and enjoy your "newbie" dance style.
The bigger hustle style clubs are Exotica, Dolphin 1 and 2, Stars Cabaret, Safari Club, Lush and Viewpoint. There are no Champnage or VIP rooms. Just separated areas where dancers do table dances a song at a time. It is rare that a club will let you skip your stage set, but if you have a customers spending, Star's and Dolphin clubs have let me skip stage once or twice in an evening. You can't skip stage for the whole shift, though.
The biggest exotic dancer store is called Cathie's and it is on 82nd St. and Powell Blvd. there are also a lot of costume ladies that will set up their clothes for sale in the clubs. I have yet to work a shift in Portland where the costume lady hasn't come in. Someone is there every day to sell dancer outfits.
I don't dance often in Portland. I usually dance in Salem and Bend Oregon. I do however dance with a lot of girls from Portland, and hear all about the clubs, and what's good and what's not.

Oh, I forgot. Try Wigland on Broadway near Lloyd Center. Or Well's hair goods in Beaverton.

Re: portland, or
There's a great little gem on Milwaukie right off 99E. It's called Butterfly's or Butterfly. I don't remember exactly. They are closing the store down in the next few months (they make more money going directly to clubs) so there are a lot of cute things on sale there and it will just get better. I am planning on stocking up in the months to come when I make more money dancing. The ladies that work there will also alter or do custom designs for you, and they are SO nice. Good luck!
