yea.. No school monday <yeah>
I`m in Fort Lauderdale, i can feel the wind starting to pick up a little but that is all so far!!
yes, waiting out yet ANOTHER one, bleh. Hope we do not end up without power this time. That really sucks when it happens.
And I'm so sick of all the rain too. My pool has been nearly impossible to keep balanced this year.
To make matters worse my neighbor NEVER puts away their outdoor furniture so we have to stress it is going to come crashiing through the screen around the pool everytime the winds get bad.
yep still up at 230am. probley wont sleep much as it is a cat 3 now! i'm on the east coast but we are supposed to get 100 per hour winds this am. lots of people DID NOT evacuate the keys. it's gonna be a mess i think.
well we survived. however we got more tornado's here in the cocoa beach area than even south fl that took the brunt of the storm. lots of wind up to 60 mph. it stayed a cat 2 even after it crossed the state from the gulf side. (i'm on the atlantic side) it's till blowing out there a little bit. i saw where it took out all the glass in a buliding in ft lauderdale. i think it will be worse than we thought after all is said and done.
i only lost power for 30mins. it's getting cold here now (really weird) usually once we get a cold snap the storms go away. of course nothing about the hurricanes in the last two years has been usual!
No power loss here, yippie !
I normally like the warmer temps but this cold snap is kinda nice. I was able to open up the house and enjoy some fresh air. And bonus is no AC needed today , which is a good thing considering how much the energy costs have risen in the past year.
Our electric bill is close to 70% higher than just one year ago.
I sat it out at home here in Cocoa. Have a pond in my living room and two in my bedroom but otherwise its all groovy. I hear a tornado touched down not far from here.... Cocoa Village, and another at KSC.
