Unusual endings...
Last night was looking to be one of the longest dullest and quietest nights at work ever then close to the end I was on stage when I suddenly thought "The music sounds unusually bloody good!' I turned around and there was a man dancing around and playing the saxaphone on stage with me. He was brilliant!!! Suddenly we had a party going on - someone grabbed the dj mic and sang and the manager ended up turning off the club music so we could just watch and / or dance to the live music. There were fuck all customers anyway and those that were there just joined in with the fun experimenting with learning pole tricks and stripper moves etc which was pretty funny in itself. It turned out the people were jazz musicians who had just come from doing a live tv show. It ended up going on well past closing time with a bunch of us locked inside the club because we didn't want it to end. (The manager was there so she was able to let us out!) Anyone else had nights like this? (-:

Re: Unusual endings...
Wow, that sounds friggin' awesome! That sort of happened one night at my other job this summer. We were all working out of town in San Francisco and I was up on set one Friday night when they wrapped. Somebody brought out some beer and a few of us ordered pizza; next thing my boyfriend (a part-time DJ) had hooked his computer up to the stereo in the house and was mixing. Before anyone knew what was happening, we were all in the middle of one hell of a great party. There was pizza and all kinds of beer and other alcohol, great music going, etc. Then somebody brought out some coke and things got really crazy.
And it was all in the house we were only supposed to be using to hold the actors when they weren't on set. A nice little elderly Christian lady owns the house and was staying with her daughter that night. We were partying until about 4, and then we all had to wake up at six and clean the place before the lady came back. ROFL!

Re: Unusual endings...
Damn I wish something like that would happen where I work.
The most " different ending " i've ever seen in our club was some really really overweight guy getting up onstage and doing the chris farley / Patrick Swayze skit on Saturday night live ( where they are auditioning to becomng dancers. )
it was funny as hell though
