Re: Toronto Club question
Hey,
I am fairly new as well and this board is very helpful...
The Burlesque License from the city of Toronto will run u $262.00. The address is 112 Elizabeth Street. But before u go there, you'll need a criminal record check. Go to Either Peel or York Region for same day service. The cost is around $40-$45.
If u dance in a Mississauga club, u don't need a license. In Brampton clubs you don't need a license either. If you want to dance at the WAGG in Vaughan you'll need a license from Vaughan.
The landing Strip is a very nice club, medium contact, close to Pearson Airport, but can be very slow.... I work at the Brass Rail, and think it's great. Contact is medium and dances are private, not like FYEO. Money is good but u have to HUSTLE.
For more information about particular clubs, visit and go to the Gigs Section.
There are also a few reviews on this site under clubs and Reviews
GoodLuck

Re: Toronto Club question
That's wrong you need a licence at the Landing.
Re: Toronto Club question
Yeah, it's the airport strip that doesn't require a license, right?
Also, is 262 for a license? That's nuts! lol
Re: Toronto Club question
Ya,
It's alot of money.... But once you start dancing, you'll make that back in a day or 2. And you can deduct it as an expense on your taxes......
The landing strip is actually in Rexdale, part of Toronto.. But you don't need a license at The Airport Strip Club....
Re: Toronto Club question
Thanks a lot. Hey do you know anything about Whiskey? Is it a good place to start?
Re: Toronto Club question
You dont need a license at the Airport strip... I was just there last week, they only require 2 pieces of photo id and its medium contact and in private rooms :)
Re: Toronto Club question
So where did you end up going? I know you need a Vaughn liscence for Whiskey, I 've been wanting to check that place out but don't want to bother getting another liscence right now.
Re: Toronto Club question
Landing Strip has semi private booths as well as floor dances. They also have a champagne room, still all glass and people can see inside.
All clubs in mississauga and brampton you do not require a license, just proper ID.
Whiskey is a club that is frequented by college kids and is a party club. Not a lot drop coin there.
Pro Cafe just down the road from Whiskey has a more mature clientel base.
