Re: Back but Moving to Vegas
The stages in Las Vegas are not paved with $100 bills, no matter what people tell you.
There is a lot about it in Club Chat. Basically it seems like any other city, only there are a lot more dancers and clubs. Seems awfully saturated.
Re: Back but Moving to Vegas
^^^ Completely on target Emily. There is money to be made there....but you will work HARD for it. The market is so saturated. Competition is extreme, be ready for it. You have to have very good hustling skills if you want to make Vegas worth your time.
Also keep in mind right around Christmas time it can be slow.
Re: Back but Moving to Vegas
Thanks girls, I appreciate the comments. I am excited, but I know that I will have to work hard too. I am probally going to have a back up hustle also until I build my clientele there.
Re: Back but Moving to Vegas
Vegas clubs are never looking for new hot faces. They have so many dancers that many shift managers turn down girls right and left because they don't want to be bothered with paperwork.
There is plenty to read about Vegas. Why is it that so many dancers get excited about Vegas? It's a decent city to live in, JUST like living anywhere else.
You won't build that much of a clientele there in the bigger clubs. The customers are tourists.
Why people want to go to a place or get in business in a place that is overloaded with competition is strange to me.
Big money is made offering a service that is in high demand, in places with virtually no competition, right?
Why would you want to work in a place that has more competition than where you already work?
I welcome you to head out there and check out the clubs. Once you do that, I'm sure your enthusiasm will fade. :(
Re: Back but Moving to Vegas
Yeah, it's fun at first. The excitement of dancing in "Vegas" wears off fast. It becomes a regular grind, no pun intended, just like anywhere else.
