Re: Talking to older guys..
That's funny. I always did well off the older men. I only heard the daughter line like once or twice. I was thinking maybe you approach them like a "daughter" type maybe? I don't know, but maybe your looks AND personality remind them that you are really young. I think girls make the mistake of thinking old men want you to act differently towards them then you would younger guys. I don't mean that they want you to be ditzy party girl or anything, but are you just as flirty and seductive with them? The one different thing I have heard only from older guys during coversation - is that they really appreciate the fact that I don't use swear words and don't majorly abuse the english language.
Re: Talking to older guys..
Exactly! Very well said Holiday.
I do very well with older guys. I'm only 18, but I always get a ton of compliments from older men on how I present myself, and on how mature and well spoken I am.
It's all in the way your present yourself. Act sexy and classy with older men. Slutty can work with college boys, but not really that well with older, business type of guys.
I love older types of music like Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, plus such types as Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday. I can often use this to open up converstaion and relate to them, and they are often intrigued that a girl my age is into that type of music.
Re: Talking to older guys..
I do better with the older guys. I am more comfortable with them. Older men are less judgmental usually. The trick is to just have class. Try to avoid the age talk or you feel old, kids, that kinda stuff. I have one cust who is really old, like 70 or something and I enjoy talking to him more than anyone else. They want to have a good time too. This is where most f my money comes from.
Re: Talking to older guys..
I've always done better with customers over 40. Don't think of older guys as "older guys" -- some sort of different species from "younger guys." At one point, they were your age; make them feel like they still are, and they'll love you.
Older customers appreciate some class. They like to hang out and talk more, but often buy more dances and compensate you better for your time. Typically, they like a slower and more sensual dance. They usually appreciate details like eye contact and smiling. A lot of them have been around, and have a keener nose for bullshit than younger guys, so a stripper-y act may not work as well as acting more natural.
Re: Talking to older guys..
If they say something about how your the same age as their child, just say back about how it's such a trip how people age, and they don't look that old..or how fast time flys...gets you off the hook while acknowleging what they say so they don't have to feel like the dirty perverts they probably are.. things like that are said out of guilt..
Other then that men are men..a man at fifty thinks like a woman at 20, so you should be fine. Look at them and picture Vin deasel, or whoever else gets your juices going, and talk to them like they do it for you..much easier.
Re: Talking to older guys..
Some good topics of converstaion are hobbies, books, work, and travel. I know lots of peopel say "don't talk about work" but it is a comfortagble topic for a lot of people. You can always use it to get thigs going, and then veer off in some other direction.
Here are some more ideas:

THe older guys are the ones you want to use the open-ended approach with. HTey will not like it so much if you just steer them toward the sale.

Susie, what do you mean a man at fifty thinks like a woman at 20?

Well said, and I'm not even that old yet.
Re: Talking to older guys..
I try to find interesting news articles, I read popular science, the weather is always a good topic. And, of course, SEX!
I have encountered the "I have a daughter your age" response too. My best answer I stole from another dancer "I might be the same age as your daughter/granddaughter, But I am not her, " Throw in a super sexy smile after that comment while laying a hand on his thigh, and he'll forget all about the age difference!
Re: Talking to older guys..
Paris, I really like your response to that statement, " I have a daughter your age." I always just giggle and say "oh, really?" or something but what you said is much better. I'm totally stealing that, lol.
Re: Talking to older guys..
hahaha! older guys are quite funny!
i love the fact that some live alone, and are pretty lonley, and if you give them that much needed attention, they come back night after night to see you! how perfect! hehehe!

I meant that men tend to mature in their thoughts slightly slower then women do. I thought every one knew that? Their sence of humer seems to be equilly matched to that of a woman in her twentys, and they also have a slight flair of cattiness that is humerous to see in a man. A man that age also, has finally developed a bit of grace, in the way they move their arms, and the way they walk. A quality of self aware, and being fine with it(it being themselves), that most women get in the 20's.
Men that age are fun to play with, other dancers should give them a chance, they could not only strike it, but learn valuable life expieriences while at it.
Re: Talking to older guys..
Old and wealthy men. You cannot beat that combo!!!! Most men get really turned on by the school girl/teacher fantasy. Play that up, but with a different twist. A little more sensual and sultry, a little less ditsy. Take them back to when they were in their early 20's. Play some music that will remind them of the good times they had when they were your age. You always have to cater your attitude to your clientel. Most college frat boys are giddy enough to be in a strip club sitting alongside a stripper. That is usually enough for them, but not for the older men. They have a more refined taste. Be a sexy little vixen, tease them ;] I agree with holiday when she mentioned "approach them like a daughter". Just think when you were younger and would sit on your daddys lap and in a sweet voice ask them for anything and you were sure to get it. Just try to embelish the fantasy and that should get them going!
Re: Talking to older guys..
Another good come back to "I have a daughter your age!" "And I've dated guys older than you/your age,." Who cares if it's true or not, it makes them laugh and feel more comfortable, plus it leads them on to believe they have a "shot" and that's always a good thing. I have the opposite problem, I can't talk to younger guys. I don't know what the hell to say to them. I think I'm still traumatized from being the outcast girl in high school. I try to avoid any guys under 30. Suggestions for convo with older men:
(already mentioned)
travel, where is your favorite place to visit?
hobbies, what do you like to do on the weekend? Fishing? Golfing? Where at?
if they have ever been in the military, where did they serve? where was the worst place they had ever been? the best?
classic rock, if you know anything about it
anything cultured: art, theater etc
Re: Talking to older guys..
If they are thinking about their daughter, why the Hell are they in a club? Well, anyway...
Be classy and erotic, avoid that nasty street talk or inane high school talk. Ask them if they invested in Pfizer/Lilly and how Viagra/Cialis, etc sales helped their portfolio. Don't talk about kids, school, their house, work, any of that responsibility stuff - that isn't fun. In stead of gauging their cash by their personal lifestyles, just directly ask them if they brought enough cash to have some real fun (as opposed to just drinking and spying some pussy). Don't ask the college kids that stuff.
Re: Talking to older guys..
Best response I've heard yet... I overheard it in the lapdance room last week.
"How old are you?"
"24."
"Oh my G-d... I've got a daughter your age."
"Oh my G-d, really? I've got a dad your age! Wild!"
He cracked up laughing and they were still dancing when I left.
Re: Talking to older guys..
How about this response? "Hi, Daddy. Where have you been all these years?"
Re: Talking to older guys..
Whatever you do, do not talk about how old they are.
Re: Talking to older guys..
old guy, young guy ,middle age guy..black ,white, yellow ,green ,purple guys...there all the same to me when im working....lOl
But the older guys like to chat a bit before they will get dances....as for me i just walk up to them smile say hi and i ask if i may sit down with them...i introduces myself ,i ask if he is having a good time, where is he from...blah ,blah,blah......i ask what his profession is and i ask about his job and they usually talk alot about that....
Re: Talking to older guys..
I have a lot of success with older men. I always begin any interaction with any customer in the club with an introduction and a handshake, making eye contact immediately. I swear this helps so much with the older gentlemen. I try to ooze class and good posture and present myself as an equal. Confidence is the key.
Talking business with my older custies really seems to help. When asking what they do/did for a living, I try to steer the conversation away from feeling out if they're a whale or not (they see RIGHT through it and put up the defense, and who cares anyway) towards "well explain to me how that works..." and ask specific questions about the type of business they're in. I've learned so much about recording engineering, directional drilling, and investment banking just by ASKING questions of the guys i talk to. Most seem to love to "teach" someone who is interested in what they spent a great portion of their life doing. And that's also one of the most rewarding parts of my job. I love to learn, and don't have to fake that!!
Travel talk has worked... I"ve been to ONE foreign country... and when they hear that i've travelled anywhere, even if it is that one country, we have an instant rapport.
I learned to NEVER ask someone's age. It's always turned bad. hehe.
Re: Talking to older guys..
I've had better results talking with more older men. Young boys are still trying to figure out what "beauty" really is. I notice young white guys who check me out constantly, but when I ask for a dance, they tell me no, and take a dance from the blonde. Nothing wrong with it, but I feel that with a younger male, they are more inclined to go with the "majority" vote so to speak. With an older gentleman though, he knows exactly what he wants, and doesn't give a dam what others may think about it.
Re: Talking to older guys..
OMG, Cinnamon...this is SO true....how many older white men have made me feel like a princess and loved having me on their arm/on their lap/at their side and then compare it with the younger ones who will sneak looks at me all night but can only bring themselves to dance with the barbie stereotypes.....Older guys definitely stop giving a damn and just want to have fun with life. Gimme....!!!
