my fav is:
Band Aid - Do They Know It's Christmas?
:-) ciao
i like oh holy night
Totally has to be Trans Siberian Orchestra's Carol Of The Bells!
Yay! That's my fave. Donna Summer (yes, of "Last Dance" and "Bad Girls" fame) does a fabulous rendition with a choir and Al Green does a very peaceful one. My favorite part of the song (where 9 times out of 10, tears are gonna flow) is "Faaaalllll on your knees, oh heeeeaaarrr the angel's voice". Sniff sniff.Quote:

"Merry Christmas" (I don't want to fight) The Ramones
"Christmas Goes Metal" CD- Has covers of "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath tweaked to refer to Santa Claus, and a very dear AC/DC-style song about "my favorite things" (LOL)
MadMaxine, those are both by Bob Rivers And Twisted radio, from the cd "I Am Santa Claus". He's got lots of other great ones, too. "I Came Upon A Roadkill Deer" is a good one. And "O Little Town Of Bethlehem" to the tune of The Animals' "House Of The Rising Sun". And instead of Winter Wonderland, it's "Walkin' Round In Women's Underwear". Good stuff.
OMG I like, forgot the most important one, eh!
The 12 Days Of Christmas by the McKenzie Brothers. ;D
And of course MY version... the strip club 12 Days.... HAH!
Father Christmas ELP is amazing. 2000 miles by the pretenders is cool to. But is it a christmas song? They say the words in there.
Oooh.. When you mentioned AC/DC, you made me remember one I had forgotten..Quote:

I remeber christmas caroling with my best friend when I was a young teen and trying to sound like angels thinking we would get the big bucks! LOL!
We would start out with we wish you a Merry christmas, then go into Silent Night, and Winter wonderland. If they didn't shoosh us by then we would ask for requestss! What a great time we had , I also remeber running to the Liquior store when we had enough for 2 big bottles of Ruinte to get a buzz while we froze our arses off!
I like that song, By paul McCartney, DSimply having a wonderfl Christmas time!Happy Holidays everyone! ;)
Santa Baby (it is also a good one to dance to with a christmas outfit on)
I can't remember right now who sings it though
Maybe one of our great DJ's can help out
Album: A Very Special Christmas
Artist: Madonna
Year: 1987
written by J. Javits and P. Springer
originally sung by Ertha Kitt
Santa baby, slip a sable under the tree, for me
I've been an awful good girl
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight
Santa baby, an out-of-space convertible too, light blue
I'll wait up for you dear
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight
Think of all the fun I've missed
Think of all the fellas that I haven't kissed
Next year I could be oh so good
If you'd check off my Christmas list
Boo doo bee doo
Santa honey, I wanna yacht and really that's
Not a lot
I've been an angel all year
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight
Santa cutie, there's one thing I really do need, the deed
To a platinum mine
Santa cutie, and hurry down the chimney tonight
Santa baby, I'm filling my stocking with a duplex, and checks
Sign your 'X' on the line
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight
Come and trim my Christmas tree
With some decorations bought at Tiffany's
I really do believe in you
Let's see if you believe in me
Boo doo bee doo
Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing, a ring
I don't mean a phone
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight
Hurry down the chimney tonight
Hurry down the chimney tonight
