that ranges from zero to $300+ at the BEGINNING of the night, with the house fee paid before the girl is allowed to start working. There is also a trade-off business model where no fixed fees are charged but the club collects a hefty percentage of the dancer's earnings instead (up to 50-50)
Our house fees are 23-100 dollars. The VIP charges us 5 bucks for every dance we do. Plus, we tip the DJ, housemom and bouncers. It ends up taking about 1/4 of my money. I have never heard of a waitress paying a fee to work though.
Most places I worked (regular bars and clubs) waitresses tip out the bar staff ~4-5% of sales. Half to the barbacks, half to the bartenders. Barback gets 20% of the bartender's tips.
The club I'm a has a stage fee of $66 most nights ($33 on Sundays, which are usually the slowest), with a tip to the housemom (if you get anything from her, $2+) and the DJ ($5-20+). There's no percentage of LDs. You're expected to pay at the end of the night, and they'll reduce the fee if you don't do too well.
I like it, because after my first four dances ($80), I can figure that everything else I make is money in the bank. On busy nights, it's especially nice, because I can picture every single twenty going into my garter as $$$ towards grad school and fun stuff.
