dealing with octopusy customers
what do you do say and/or do when a customer (or a group of those) is touching you more than you like? especially when that behavior is tolerated by the club?
how do you put a limit without having to stand up and leave... or that is to say, loosing customers?
Re: dealing with octopusy customers
May want to search through the threads... there are tons of messages about this.
For me? During a dance Ill hold their hands down to the seat or I leave...
Re: dealing with octopusy customers
Thanks, dear. I live in Mexico... and here this behavior is usually tolerated not only for private lapdances but also at the table when talking with the customer.
Moreover, what to do if the girls who are with the other guys at the same table are allowing them to squeeze ther boobs at the table? What to do instead of saying "go to hell"?
If it happens when you are giving the lap, you can grab their hands, but what if you have not even sold anything... especially if you are obligated by the club to make some amount of tickets?
Re: dealing with octopusy customers
Oh damn hun... I dunno... Ive never been in a situation like that. Only thing I can think of is if thats whats expected at the club by management/dancers/customers theres not much you can do other than find another club.
Re: dealing with octopusy customers
you must be very assertive and dominant when you are around clubs and customers that feel allowed to grab ladies however. you have to be all spike heel in the crotch, so they understand how it properly works.
Re: dealing with octopusy customers
Heels in crotches usually result in dancers getting fired and lawsuits. A better way to go if the customer gets a bit grabby is to say to him, "My dances are a lot more erotic and fun this way..." and then make him sit on his hands. Problem solved. In the future though, please do a search before starting a thread on a topic that's been covered numerous times.
Re: dealing with octopusy customers
no, i don't mean literally hit the guys with your spike heels! just, the implication of assertiveness. i have tried the 'it's better THIS way' with customers, but it simply does not work with very grabby guys unless there is an implied sense of dominant body language in the dancer. dancers with more shy and modest personas ITC often have to develop a dominant, take-charge persona for clubs with grabby customers.
Re: dealing with octopusy customers
I think she thinks its a hard situation because the club actively condones it, not just because they're touching her. Unfortunately when the club allows it, there's not much to do other than find one with a lower level of contact.
Re: dealing with octopusy customers
I have met lots of custies from Mexico who tell me they can get ANYTHING in a club for $10. THey really, honestly, think I am going to fuck them for 10 bucks! I think it may just be the culture where you are. My suggestion would be to move to a less permissve area. I know that mingt not be practical, but . . . . I can't think of anything else.
Re: dealing with octopusy customers
i have had such customers, colleen, and worked in a club where they were sometimes the majority of customers. the aggressive thing worked without me having to actually resort to violence generally speaking. since many dancers simply can't relocate at a whim, it helps to have some strategies for dealing with a grabby club culture.
also, is it possible to consider paying off the bouncers to help you out? i do not know if you have such a club culture, susana.
Re: dealing with octopusy customers
Ask him if he would like to keep his balls!;D
Re: dealing with octopusy customers
I seductively go up the them put my hands around their necks & whisper "Touch me again & i'll fucking kill you.....ok"
I've been told off by one my fello dancers for my conduct & shes a girl who giggles when the cutomers touch her then cries after, plus she makes less money then me!
Re: dealing with octopusy customers
I disagree with finding a new club. Mexico sounds a lot like Rhode Island when it comes to rules and laws. My club has neither, that doesn't mean that I don't. You just gotta stand your ground regardless of if the bitch in the next booth is bent over the couch (yee haw, welcome to Cheaters ::) ) Give the custy a warning. If he doesn't listen walk out. Get your money up front especially if you anticipate a problem. Don't be afraid to say no. If they say "But the other girl let me..." "Well I'm not the other girl." Set your own rules and boundaries and stick with them. You'll still make money. Maybe not as much as the other girls who allow more but at least you'll leave with your dignity at the end of the night. Creative excuses can work too: example:
custy trys to touch your pussy, your response: "Please don't do that, this club is really dirty and after you've touched anything in this club I can't risk you touching my pussy." Surprisingly I've found guys respond really well to that, a lot better than they do to just plain "No, don't etc etc"

Hell yeah that one does work better and it helps to not make the custy feel chastised..which no one likes...I just give a shrug and a little smile and explain that Im a bit of a germ-concious girl...
Re: dealing with octopusy customers
Just to add a custy's perspective...
I once had a dancer gently slap the top of my hand and then wagged her finger at me going "naughty, naughty." She then put my hands back where she would allow them. It was an effective, and kinda sexy, way for her to get the point across.
I'm not sure if this would work on an a-hole customer or one that had way too much to drink, but it worked for a nice guy who just crossed a little over that line.
