Their plans sound good, but they only give you three phone choices.I like my Razr phone better.
i know and u have to have a 2 year contrack with them too that sucks too.
They are new, it's a CDMA provider running of Verizon's network. I'm surprised a new company would go to a standard that is only used in the US and South Korea.

what does that mean??
I was wondering whose network they were using. I normally recommend against any comapny that subs themselves out onto another network. Eventually, that company will be absorbed by the larger (ie. AT&T/Cingular).
CDMA= Code Division Multiple Access. The form of digital technology used by Verizon. It is the newest of the 3 digital technologies available. The other 2 are TDMA (Tone Division Multiple Acces) and GSM (I don't know what the acronym stands for). TDMA is, or at least it was when I got out of telecom, used by AT&T/Cingular. GSM is the international standard.
There are advantages and disadvantages to all 3 technologies. My personal preference is CDMA (Verizon), because it is the newest and most advanced of the 3. The capabilities over a good CDMA network are better than the other 2.
thats cool. im still kinda woundering if there a good company or not to go with.
Two year contract sounds normal to me. Verizon does this too
It's an MVNO (MObile Virtual Network Operator) like boost mobile or Virgin mobile. They are the first to use Verizon's network and are focusing on youth marketing. One of the reasons to use Verizon is because Verizon has the best DATA network. Amp's is a very vell funded startup and IMO will be one of the only who actually survive.
You will see a lot of these sort of things pop up in the next 2 years. Especially ones that focus on the younger generations.
Two year contracts are more common now. It's the best way to get the purchase price of the phone down significantly.
