What are your's???
I resolve to pay off the last of my debt and to get back in shape.
Funny enough, both will be much easier once I do what I really want, and start dancing full-time!
After a year of being in an extremely emotional and mentally abusive relationship,I will break away from it.I am NO ONE'S property.
Great for you!! That's terrific!!
:smellie_g
Good one Onlythebest !!!
I plan on buying my first home and taking better care of myself!!
That is why I am treating myself to a Cali trip.
I never stick to mine, but here goes:
-Cut back on drinking
-Eat healthy and exercise more often (seems like that's EVERYBODY'S New Year's resolution)
-Be better about saving my money-I didn't do a very good job at that this year
-Be better about returning people's phone calls right away. I hate talking on the phone and sometimes I will flake and not call people back for a couple days.
This year, I resolve to give up liver and onions. It's worked every year in the past, so why change a good thing?
I think I'll give them up for Lent too.
Other than that, I'll just go on counting my blessings, for which I have many.
:writing:
*going onto phase 2 of my body metemorphosis
-getting boobs in april
-loosing that last 11lbs now

*get laid and possibly find a worthy bf
I don't make resolutions. I'd never keep them anyway. I change as I see fit during the year. It's easier that way, no disappointments.
The end of the year is here and it's time to share your New Years' resolutions. I don't have any yet. but maybe after reading others I will. I feel 2005 generally sucked for me. I'm just waiting for the year to end because I've felt like it's been bad luck. Every holiday has felt just like any other day for me, so unimportant. What good things happened for you guys this year? What bad?Was it generally a good or bad year in all?
I've got a few in mind...
1. I want to keep working hard. I've got my new job, and I'm loving it!
2. I want to get back into shape. After my knee injury, I started slacking off- it's time to get back to business here!
3. I want to find a nice place for Mox and I to call home. It will happen anyway, but I'm seriously ready to have a yard and washer/dryer connection (and to be able to bring Bo, Mox's black lab, home with us!).
This year was hard for me, but I think I've learned a ton from it. It was my first full year living on my own (out of my parent's place), and it has given me such an appreciation for all the things they did for me. I was left without a job during the summer, and that made it extra hard to pay bills and stuff. I also had to deal with my parent's selling my childhood home, and watching a bunch of rich bitch punk college kids move in and party down in MY house took the joy right out of my year.
On a better note, though, I got two of my three baby ferrets this year: Maverick and Rocky. These little guys bring so much happiness to me, and I can't imagine a day without them. Mox and I officially became a married couple (though only a select few are aware of it)- we common lawed it. I also landed my new job with the place my dad works at, and it has been nothing short of amazing. Add on the fact that Mox was put on full-time at his job, and we are ending up with money left over after paying bills each week! Plus, we'll be getting health insurance (really good coverage, too) at the first of the year!
I can only hope that what has finally picked up at the end of the year will carry on into the new year. I am finally REALLY able to feel happy again for the first time in over a year.
my goals are to increase my bank account to double what it is now, buy a new car, get a BA and pay off 2 very minor debts that i have.
I wish every one good luck for their new years resolution...
i have a lot.......
1.) I want to lose weight ( gained a bunch when my boyfriend got together and it put my dancing on hold) I'm not fat, but have some pounds to lose before I'll feel comfortable
2.) Along with losing weight, I want to start eating healthier
3.) Ween my son off ketchup, he's 5 and dips EVERYTHING in ketchup, I've already started the process a little bit and its going good, so YAY!!
4.) Finish school and get a job in the culinary field
5.) get my boyfriend to want to have sex more, a lot more! :)
6.) start keeping track of our expenses, so i can see where it is that our money is going
There's more, but that's some of the big ones!
Good Luck to everyone with theirs!!!!
Mine is simple, and it's one I haven't managed to entirely keep since I started making it a few years ago (though I hope I'm getting closer).
My New Year's Resolution is to be the best person I can be... primarily to stand up for my beliefs even when it's inconvienient or uncomfortable, and to help out others when I can.
2005 was a great year for me, at long last my divorce was finalized, not only legally, but emotionally. I met a wonderful woman. I made new friends and got closer to old ones. I learned a new sport, kayaking. My only resolution is to stay on the track I am now on.
^^^ Same here ! But I must drop a few pounds and get myself back into shape but I can start that now cant I .
Drop the winter weight
save $$$
maybe find a worthy bf
embark on more adventures
go on a needed vaca!
You girls have some good ones so far.. Mine so far are..
1. Lose some weight. (15lbs or so)
2. stick with my healthy eating plan.. i'm doing well so far.
3. only use my credit cards in a emergency.
4. find a better paying job.
ok, Ill post now.
My year was mostly bad: debt accrued to an uncomfortable level, sick, etc. The good parts were : meeting and getting together with my honey, moving out of my parents house, and discovering dancing ;D
My Resolutions so far...
1.Tackle some of my debt. I know I can't just get out of debt this big in one year.
2.I'm plenty thin, but now I need to tone up.
3.Keep better track of my finances.
4.Eat healthier and exercise.
5.Try to put some money away for a car-improvement fund(I LOVE my car ad see so much ptoential in it).
6. Nail down a time and fund to go to automotive school in Phoenix
7.Get into dancing on a regular basis.
There's more, but that's all I got right now....
I resolve to be even more brutal and mean spirited than I was last year!
1. Drop those extra pounds (might as well be like everyone else)
2. Be smarter with my money (like cutting up those extra credit cards)
3. Quit stressing over the small things I can't control (it's slowly killing me)
4. Get my golf handicap into the single digits (this will probably be the most difficult one!)
5. Be an overall happier person.
I want to meet at least one more of my health and wellness goals than I did last year.
1. Go to cosmetology school - Start in February and FINISH THIS TIME
2. Go to the gym 3 days/week with hubby
3. Save, save, save!
Another one of mine:
Finally being able to retire.
