Any work related resolutions to share?
Mine is to save!! My spending habits are out of control. I'm going to try to save the same amount I spend, i.e. if I spend $200 on jeans, I need to put $200 in the bank as well. I also plan to work more in the new year.
I tend to take the negative comments too personally(from custies and dancers), I'd like to be able to let it fall off my back like water on a duck's back, or at least not be so sensitive sometimes.
less time in the dressing room.
^^ Less time in the dressing room.. I like that one :)
mine is to lose 10 pounds....
Put the DW seminar to use. Save more than before. Try to develop a steady work schedule.
Take a flippen' vacation.
I have plenty of things i want for the New Year yet i dare not call them 'New Years Resolutions' as we all know how these usually turn out. ;D
by the end of 2006 i want to be a pole monkey! work more! save more! drink less!
Well I'm not sure this will actually happen but I would like to stand up for myself with those customers that are always crossing the line, you know the ones that get way too carried away with the groping, asking for extras (which I won't do), talking to you as if you're not a person just some piece of meat. I always just keep my mouth shut and remind myself of the money I'm making but by doing that I'm letting him think it's okay, maybe if I pointed out how rude he was being...MAYBE he'd at least think twice next time. Or I might just lose a bunch of $$ Well it's worth a shot, hey it's a brand new year!
I do not make NY resolutions .. I only make plans and allow them to be flexible as 'change' (along with death and taxes) is the only true thing you can count on happening in life.. :)
Get my damn manual license so that....
* I can gain more work at home with the agencies as well as make myself more available for bookings independantly as well
* Sell my first Dancer Wealth Home Study Course here in Australia by the end of this month (yes it is now available to Australian dancers from me and eventually the website ) and a whole heap more (at least 100) by the end of the year
* Win the 'venue final' (hence be an entrant in the grand final) of one of the many stripper competitions that happen every year (Hustler, Exotic Angels, Miss Nude amongst others).
* Find a sponsor for my Exotic Angels 'photo entry' so that I can 'buy my way' into the Grand Final and get into THAT calendar
* Gain more (preferably paid) modelling work (I need to update my portfolio)
* By the end of the year have some of my money work for me (invest it so that the money earns more money without me having to actually physically work for it as such)
Not too much to ask is it??? ;D
My resolution is to get off my lazy butt and practice every single friggin' day until I can do all the pole tricks on the ecdysiastic.com DVD... and to learn how to pronounce "ecdysiast"!!
That's so damn kewl! I wish the Gold Coast or Brisbane had a place like that :( I wonder if the DVD is only compatible with the US or if it is an "all regions" DVD (I require Region 4 compatibility due to the Aust. DVD players here).Quote:

Cut back on my drinking, save more money, work more often, and be a better hustler!
Get to work earlier than the 10PM I usually arrive at so I can keep more of my hard-earned (pun intended) cash and stop giving so much away to the club.
Try to make the most of my time there instaed of waiting for the last two hours to make all my money...I just hate sitting and talking when it's slow!
Get in better shape. Work in places with the most earning potential and the least stress.
Stick to a schedule.
finish my M.A., hit 120 pounds, and get into the phD program that i want :)
Those are exactly my 2 New Year's resolutions (appreciate my job and learn how to save).Quote:
