Affording Plastic Surgery
I hate to ask this question, but I am sure we all know that plastic (option) surgery for looks is EXPENSIVE as hell.
How can I afford it? I am not a stripper yet, and even if I decide not to strip I would still like to get some plastic surgery on my breasts and nose.
Having it be so expensive though, how do you afford it?
Are there any places where you can get loans for plastic surgery? I have heard of that, but dunno if it's actually worth looking into.

Re: Affording Plastic Surgery
there are financing options....but depending on your credit, it might not be a good deal. You can even find 0% for terms up to a year if you look around.
Personally, I think it's kind of silly to finance something you don't need at huge interest rates. Instead of making payments, save and wait....and pay less.

Re: Affording Plastic Surgery
That is true. I mean, it makes more sense to be able to just pay it all off in one setting instead of (like you said) paying the crazy interest fees for something that isn't a needed.

Re: Affording Plastic Surgery
I'd say sign up for one of those savings accounts that automatically deducts money from your checking account and socks it away. Then just pretend it doesn't exist. Even better, if you have direct deposit with your regular job, see if they can deposit some set percent or amount of each paycheck into the savings account. That way, you don't see it, so you don't spend it.
And if you're doing breast augmentation, shop around. You may have to pay more for implants from a surgeon that is good enough that they don't look like implants, but better the added expense than having nipples on top of your boobs and pointing in two totally different directions.

Re: Affording Plastic Surgery
Theres a company called Unicorn Financial that does same as cash. http://www.unicornfinancial.com/
EDIT: To have basic qualification you need a credit card that has a credit line of 2,000 or more for at least a year.

Well, I'd guess most girls here afford it by dancing. Since you're not dancing though, I'd have to agree with the poster who says to have money automatically deducted from your account every week.

Re: Affording Plastic Surgery
In three months, working at a lower end club, I was able to save $8k+ plus money for my bills.
I'm having my breasts done & my nose revised (previously had rhino, but then got injured shortly after) for a grand total of $12k, on December 24th.... my xmas gift to myself, lol.
If you have no credit, or bad credit... it's unlikely that you'll get financed through CareCredit, Capitol One Health Financing, Unicorn... etc. It's a high risk industry to lend in, as... they can't come reposses your tits or shove the fat back in you. Most people that get financed through these companies have A1 Credit Histories.
There is one program I know of that guarantees to finance anyone, regardless of their credit score/history, . It seems kind of scam like, and you can only go to their doctors. And they won't tell you who the Doctor is until you book a consultation...... very weird.
Anywho, I'd say save, save, save your own money. If you really buck up and keep your spending habits down while your saving, it doesn't take too long. =)

Re: Affording Plastic Surgery
thanks havanna
ill look at doctorssayyes
i called them and it sounded kinda iffy- they wanted credit check money and i think they said five hundred for a consultation (Wtf?)
but if its my only option i guess its my only option- anyone know of anyplace else thatll finance a girl with no verifiable income (clubs dont seem to hot to trot on providing girls with income verification) and shitty credit
????

Re: Affording Plastic Surgery
^ eeek! Doctorssayyes.com is horrible! Imagine the kind of surgeon who needs to bamboozle you into going to him. "It's either him through our financing, or no one because you can't afford it without us!" Any legit loan company will let you take your money to whomever you want.

Don't do it! I don't care what you look like, if you have hanging skin and a witch nose, work until you can pay in cash instead of going to Doctors Say Yes. You don't need to be perfect to make good money!
$500 for a consultation? Are they fucking serious? That's outrageous. Most high end surgeons charge $50-250, just to make sure you're serious - if they gave away consultations they would be doing them all day every day. They are seriously trying to fuck people over. You will end up paying two, maybe three times as much as your procedure should be after their outrageous interest rates.

Re: Affording Plastic Surgery
really?
carecredit already said no :(
is this doable through one of the other ones and with no verification of my income?
how do i do it? i just filled out three online forms for possible financing- and two wanted a coapplicant (my hubby) and ive yet to hear back from the other one
ive got thirteen hundred loose for putting a down payment and ill need a lift and implants
what about the doctors offices themselves? dont some offer in house financing? is that only for girls with good credit?
thanks for the headsup viola

Re: Affording Plastic Surgery
^ just work until you can afford it! Don't finance it! If you can't pay for it now, you're going to get gouged by horrible interest FOREVER. I'm sure you look good enough to dance somewhere you'll make good money.
Are you dancing now? It's better to dance at a dive 5 nights a week for 2-4 months than sell your soul to these predatory lending agencies! Besides, it's going to be REALLY hard to get anyone to loan you money right now for ANYTHING.

Re: Affording Plastic Surgery
i cant wait i need them asap
hence looking for the least assrape like financing option
yes im dancing now, but my managers want me to get implants asap and im only allowed on days till i do and theres not alot of dough to be made on days
i look great face and otherwise, but ive lot eightyfive pounds this year and something was terribly lost in the translation between big fat girl with big fat titties and thin girl with saggy q balls in socks :(
and obviously new boobs will help me make more whatever shift im on
waitings just not an option for me
i gotta get in and get this done before december AND have recovery time money as well

Re: Affording Plastic Surgery
^ I guess go through your husband's credit? Switch clubs? Supplement your income with phone sex work or webcam work?
-
Re: Affording Plastic Surgery
Don't rush you don't want just any body working on you .
-
Re: Affording Plastic Surgery
husbands credit is as bad if not worse
i dont know if thats gonna work
is phonesex/webcam work any actual money?
what about the girl that said she used her student loan money to buy them?
maybe i can do that?
as far as switching clubs, theres this club and one other and i cant work at the other i got termed :(
theres two topless clubs in town but one is blech and the other is only slightly less blech
driving out to denver is not really a option- gas and i dont even know if id get hired to be honest the standards are higher in denver than in the springs an besides ofthe girls from here that have gone out to denver to work lately none are like "yeah it was rad i made mint" theyre all like "it was bunk, same as here and it cost alot in gas"

Re: Affording Plastic Surgery
on a bright note i just askedthe manager about the possibility of working doubles
and he said thats fine on weeknights- weekends, he said "theres too many girls"
so i guess i can work mon-thu nights as well as days which is cool cause i got no house fee for dayshifts...
what are the odds i can earn up enough to just pay for them outright in a few weeks?
grrr

Re: Affording Plastic Surgery
I like the student loan idea I plan on going back to school in January maybe I can use the refund money I get from my grants.
Im not sure if you can make 5k in a few weeks you would have to be working day and night.
