Yep. No big deal. We've never exchanged words, just those polite smiles you give any stranger. If I'm with my bf, I'll tell him about it and throw in something funny about the guy and we laugh about it. }:D
yes, and mine was EXTREMELY unpleasant. In the Dr.'s waiting room (strep throat, UTI, so feeling exceptionally crappy) and the club PERVERT comes up to me talking about when/where I'm dancing next in a LOUD voice. No fucking tact. He doesn't get my at first polite hints, so I end up telling him to basically fuck off, get out of my face, I'm sick, and don't want to be bothered. Horrid.
Sure! A lot, actually. I'll BS with them a bit, and find out when they'll be in next. Hell, sometimes they come into my other job (one of them, that is). I dont mind talking about the club with them there either. But that's just me.
I usually just smile and nod and keep moving.
Several times, had met one with his wife.
Introduced me as someone else, played along.
Another one, with another family member, invited me to dinner.
Politely declined.
Some saw me, and avoided me. And then again, some stick to me like shit.
Hey, they are like that at the club also.
Of course, the general intent here is what to do.
Well, what can you do? I am like a bloated fish.
You have caught me, I am outside my element.
But I am not like a beached whale, believe it or not, sirs,
I do have a life on the outside. I am a normal everyday girl.
I do have to do laundries, do have to run to the hardware store,
do have to go see the doctor, and whole lot of other things.
But the outside is the outside. I cannot and will not be as I am at the club.
For that, you have to come see me at the club.
Yeah, buddy, this is the way I look, without any make up.
I am still quite attractive, damn right, I am.
Yeah, this is me in pullovers and jeans, with a train of kids behind me.
Hey, this is me. Please realize that I do have a life, my life woth living
outside the club.
Oh, yeah, would love to come see you at work one day.
See what your life is like at your work.
And when I do, we can chat, maybe over a cup of coffee.
Yeah, I like mine straight, no cream, no sugar. Thanks.
It has happened a few times for me. At the mall I run into them. Once at a restaurant when I was having dinner with my daughter and fiance LOL. It was all good my hubby has no problem with any of it.
Me and another dancer was approached at a mall by a customer. He asked if we were dancing up the steet at the club we said yes...then invited us to dinner...we declined. We both made an escuse thatwe had to go and walked back to the club.
About a half hour later the dj comes back to the dressing room and gives us flowers (3 carnations) and tells us the guy wants us to come out and thank him...ass.
He was so creepy.
There was another time I was at a nightclub and it was busy and this guy got on a chair and pointed at me and screamed "she's a stripper"....needless to say I left!
What an ass! That's got to be one of the most classless things for someone to do. I suspect there was booze involved. I'm sure you would have loved to give him a good slap across the face, but it probably wouldn't have helped. You most likely would have gotten into trouble and he'd still be an ass.Quote:

I also ran into a customer at the doctor's office when I was there to get a prescription for a yeast infection. He would not leave me alone, even when I was waiting in line to check in. I asked him if he could excuse me so I could check in, because I was behind him in line and after he checked in he still waited there for me to check in. SOOOOOO RUDE!!! I didn't want him to hear my real name, address, and phone number, so I was rude to him and told him that I needed privacy (not in those exact words... lol...). Some guys just don't get the hint.Quote:

It was funny, though. He was very tactful about it.
I ran into a loserific dude who showed me a pay stub for $20,000 from his corporate job when he came into the club 20 minutes before closing- he was trying to lure me out of the club to his house.....refused to buy any dances...
So we end up bumping into eachother at an ice cream shop on the edge of Woodward Park, the most fancy section of town. I did NOT do anything since I was with my cousin.
He looked embarassed. I started ranting in my cousin's ear when we stepped out. She laughed at me- one of her friends was a stripper & she never told me for years!
one night i went out clubbing, and these 3guys and a girl walked past as they did the bf of the girl shouted to his mate "hey, thats that chick from the stripcl...uh...um...nevermind" his gf was so angry!! haha
i quite often see customers out and about, im almost always with my man, normally we just make eye contact and leave it at that.if its one of those customers that really is more of a friend then a customer,my partner and i will say hi.
i have lost many good customers tho due to them seeing me with my partner. one was lovely old man who declined taking me for more dances cos he "felt terrible having me dance for him when he knows i have a man at home" it was sweet.but i was a bit guttered.
the other was a guy who seen me in the supermarket, then came to the club the next week CRYING and telling me he loved me,and now ive broken his heart cos i had a partner.lol
you get freaks everywhere :)
Years ago i was in a mall by myself and i saw this girl walking towards me,and she was in sweat shirt and track pants, was by herself as i was,and as she got closer she smiled at me and then she stopped and said hi,i had no idea who she was,and then she said,"you dont recogonize me do you?" and i told her no,then she said "if i was naked you would!"then it dawned on me who she was,we both had a good laugh over it!
Yeah, quite often - it doesn't bother me - I've also seen so many people I know at my work it doesn't phaze me at all. I just say hello or smile usually if I'm out and about although I will stop and talk sometimes.
I've had a whole bunch of guys at a club chanting and pointing "whoooo stripper" etc - but it's no secret that I am a stripper, so I just waved and told one or 2 of them to come see me at work sometime. Not sure if they ever did - I have a crap memory for faces!
What the hell is wrong with people? Im pretty sure he knew you were aware that you are a stripper. Was it absolutely imperative for the entire world to know you are a stripper? Some people dont have any sense whatsoever.Quote:

Why would you even approach a stripper outside of her job? You wouldnt ask waitress at your bar to serve you a drink when you see her in the supermarket. I wish I could just knock some people upside the head sometimes...
The club I work at is so strict, if one of the managers found out we saw a customer outside of work & went so far as to say hi, we would be fired. How fucked up is that?
Actually one of the day girls went next door to get something to eat when she got off, & one of the well known regulars was there, so she said hi & talked to him for a few minutes. Apparently one of the bouncers saw her & got her fired, wtf?
So no, I've never seen a customer out, but if I do, I'll make sure to stay far away, lol.
I used to go with a guy who was a band photographer. We were there while the and was setting up and one of the band members looked at me and said, "hey, aren't you that lingerie girl? Colleen?" I said yes. SO he said, "Hey, how about that? I even regognised you with your clothes on! "
I have also run into people from my outside life in the bar, but that is a different story!
