no it doesnt. its fine for club lights.
No problems with glowing in blacklights but had lots of problems with trying to keep this product on for more than a few minutes. Contrary to what's advertized, it rubbed off me very quickly and didn't last long at all, even when I was being extra careful.
IMO, it's good for hiding small things in areas that aren't prone to friction or for photo shoots. Otherwise, not worth the time and mess.
I've never had problems with it. I use it to cover my BA scars which are quite red and it works great. I've even slept with it on and it has only slightly faded or rubbed off. Just be sure to blend the setting powder in very well so it doesn't glow or get on clothes.
I too use Dermablend for scars on my breasts. I've had a full lift so I have to cover a fairly large anchor scar. It works well for me, I don't even bother with the setting powder. A good tip I use is to apply with a makeup brush so you don't have to get it on your hands, which can be difficult to wash off.
I use it and like it alot. Although I change colors throughout the year so having 2-3 different ones would help.
Ive never had a problem with it glowing under the lights. I apply it very lightly though.
Thanks you guys for your help I appreciate it .Ive been thinking of buying dermablend but some girl said it glows .didnt want to start at a club thinking i look awesome because the dermablend hid all my stretchmarks and then go under blacklights having my tummy glow with streaks. :advices: so thanks!!!
Ah, this is the stuff my dermatologist recommended. I say it's a great product. ESPECIALLY if you use the setting powder with it.
That's probably why it's not staying on if it's rubbing off quickly. That or, maybe the make-up just doesn't work with your skin.
My suggestion is, BUY it. I liked it a lot, it covereage a small birth mark I've had forever that I hate on my neck, so it'll work well on your scars.
Also, the setting power (in my opinion) makes it last longer, but look a little odd. I would put some on, setting powder, then put more on top of the setting powder.
I use it a lot to cover the tattoos on my feet for funerals, weddings, etc. Anyway, I get the best result with the setting powder, followed by a shimmery face or body powder with some peachy-bronsey colors in it. The setting powder is stark white so you need something with color. Try a cheap drugstore bronzer.
i love the stuff. coverblend is just the same but a bit cheaper :)
Exactly! I dunno if it's cause I have a caramel complexion, or if it does that to everyone. But, the setting powder shows up on me. Bronzer is a good idea. Or, setting powder followed by some bronzer. Good idea!Quote:

Pixie, after applying the makeup did you wait and then apply the setting powder?Quote:

1. Apply the dermablend with a sponge; cover as well as you can.
2. Apply setting powder after a min or so. (my dermablend tends to dry out;so I have to wet the sponge, apply, and let that set a min.) YOU CAN use regular face powder in a bind if you are strapped for cash or ran out of the dermablend setting powder
3. HAIR SPRAY over it. Yes; I know it sounds like a sticky proposition; so use a quick dry or hold.
Should stay on for at LEAST 4 hours or longer; just check it periodically. It WILL; however; still come off on your clothes in the long run.
Good luck...
i was checking out the dermablend site a few minutes ago, and i would definitely love to try it. the only problem is, i don't know if they have a shade pale enough for me.
i'm VERY light.

I second the hair spray, that works like a charm for any long time make up you need to wear. Just don't spray TOO much. (It gets tacky as in glue tacky...Long story..Quote:

hey girls! how do i get this Dermablend?
do you think i could use dermablend on my face?
dermablend or coverblend ..either or. You can use it on your face and on your body. However, they make seperate formulas.
I love both and buy both brands ..however I found coverblend to just work better..period.
Yes, but you will be applyin it on your legs, not your face. So don't worry about clogged pores on your legs.Quote:

actually the hair spray thing will work with regular old makeup........in the club i used to work in girls would cover their tattoos by applying a layer of liquid foundation or cover up,let it dry, a layer of baby powder and than hair spray. it wont come off. one girl had an entire backpeice tattoo and for 3 years i never noticed it.Quote:
