I am new to the biz and I see certain clubs have spinning poles...never used one before. Am i going to fall and break my ass?

Basically a spinning pole is not "locked" in place, so you don't need as much momentum to spin around the pole.
But, if you've never used a spinning pole, I suggest you get a stationary one until you get used to spinning...a spinning pole can make you quite dizzy if you're not used to spinning that fast! You could definatly fall and break your ass if you get too crazy on a spinning one and don't have a good grip! lol

I personally HATE spinning poles... Id much rather use a stationary one...
Spinning Poles + Me = in Emergency Call
I dislike them, especially after going from a stationary pole to a spinning pole

For me, rotating poles are only good for poses...climb the pole, invert into a beautiful pose, and slowly spin. I believe it really helps to show the curves of your body as you slowly rotate. However, it's definitely just a gimic for me.
The *one* time I tried a spin on a rotating pole, I swore I would never do it again. I couldn't see straight for an hour... ;)

I've only ever really been on a spinning pole... I find it easier to work with than a stationary one... probably wanna go with a brass pole though for better grip... where I have just started working the poles are spinning but they are basically 'chromed' up and i cant grip too well...
The only time I've had a locked pole was for hanging upside down and stuff. I think you just get used to what you are working with!
