Re: Real life or "on-line"?
I more or less act the same.
I am less selfish sexually online however

Re: Real life or "on-line"?
Better in person.
Online is so random...it's tough to know if what you're trying to communicate is what is being perceived.
Re: Real life or "on-line"?
I'm very shy in real life. Online I can be, I guess the real me.
Re: Real life or "on-line"?
I'm the same guy online and in real life but it wasn't quite like that before.I was much more expressive and talkative online than i was in real life but then i began to gain more self-confidence and all of a sudden i wasn't worried so much about people would perceive me.
The internet in some way, shape or form has helped me to grow and i can thank a lot of people that i've met for helping me make that transition.
Re: Real life or "on-line"?
Online or in person, I'm exactly the same.
Re: Real life or "on-line"?
Without a doubt, I'm better online. I'm nice and sociable. When I sign off, it's a complete 180°.
Re: Real life or "on-line"?
Much better online--about 15lbs. lighter, too.
Re: Real life or "on-line"?
i'm better in person. i think...hehehe..........lolllllllllllll
Re: Real life or "on-line"?
One of the things I like about the internet forums and such is the fact that the community is utterly raceless. People can only judge you by what you type and what you make available for everyone to know. You're a republican? You don't need to show it. People only know of you what they tell you, and your intelligence and what you say is a big factor.
When people meet me in real life...they're initial image is always wrong. I don't know if that means I'm better in person and a bumbling tard online, or vice versa.
I'm ok with either.
Re: Real life or "on-line"?
People can hear me online. They can't hear me when I am in person. I guess I am soft spoken.
I am a little freer with my comments on line though.
I can use the delete key on line. :D
Re: Real life or "on-line"?
In person! Because it is easy to read facial expressions ect. Online, i often don't get what another is saying due to not being able to see or hear or feel etc. So a simple word to me makes me become a bitch to them. I fire off! I read into what they write wrong...so
I don't expect people to be nicer online. I really expect that in person.
Besides, people play fuckin games online...far too much. Is easy to fool people for many it seems. I like to keep it real online too. But at times i would say shit i would never say to a friends face...ever.

Re: Real life or "on-line"?
I prefer going outside and being around people, even if just at school and SCs. So being offline serves that purpose::) .
But...with online you can cut the bullshit chit chat and just cut to the chase. You can't admit stuff like stripping to people in life, but you can to others that you know for a fact are strippers and will not spread rumors. So the 'secrets' can come out online, which is cool.
Re: Real life or "on-line"?
....I dont think i have much of a secret side so i'm about the same online as in person. Although, online there is an wider range of expressive conversation without consequences.
Re: Real life or "on-line"?
I'm about the same online as offline. What ya see is what ya get. 8)

Well, I don't know about a better person. People generally find me rather pleasant in the flesh, but I am certainly more outgoing and more confident in expressing myself through my keyboard than face-to-face, at least at first acqaintance.
In RL I have terrible social apprehension around new people, esspecially women. I will warm up to people over time, but my first impressions on folks aren't always what I'd like them to be.
You remember that commerical some years back with the stuttering girl typing on her computer? She wrote "I hate words when I talk, I love words when I write", well that's me (except I don't stutter). Unlike the computer, my mouth doesn't have a backspace key to correct screw ups. I also don't have to show my ugly mug to converse with people.
Re: Real life or "on-line"?
Im better in person... in person im a lot sweeter and maybe even a tad shy at times... yet im outspoken... only its more polite.
Online im a over opinionated bitch and im not affraid to tell anyone off...
So yea in person im a hell of a lot better lol.

How do people perceive you?
I've gotta say I'm nicer online, but not by much. Online I have delete, in rl ya pretty much hear things as I think em in the exact way I think it..that tends to piss people off for some fuckin reason
Re: Real life or "on-line"?
I think I come across more well-spoken online than I do in person, which is sometimes good and sometimes not. The ability to edit one's thoughts before presenting them in print really makes things clearer and easier to understand. On the other hand, I've noticed that emails to friends and emails to work colleagues are much the same in composition - so that in personal correspondence I appear colder and more business-like than I feel I am.
In person, I think I'm more "unfiltered". So you take the good with the bad. I am much more soft-spoken in person, too.

Although you seemed like a Teddy Bear at Stripperfest.. You know, you do have that habit of cutting people's hair and spitting in their food too.
:rotfl:
That was classic, eh?
Re: Real life or "on-line"?
Real -life I like to see people their expressions body language it all seems easier to read people . I dont express my thoughts well on paper - and I always want to delete after I send my answer and its too damn late ! Probably I am way too honest on-line and sometimes I am not sure people like to hear the truth ! Hurry hit delete ! Too late lol
Re: Real life or "on-line"?
First, online, I don't think I come off always as believable... no such person as me could actually exist, most people think, so without meeting me IRL, folks no doubt think I am totally full of shit.
But I am definitely 'nicer' off-line, I skip the cutting remarks, and I am much more tolerant of stupidity...
Re: Real life or "on-line"?
Same, just check my spelling more online-LOL
