stage show
Okay, so, I had a problem last night. I was drinking and the dj decided to pull me off the rotation. He didn't inform me that he did this and never called me to stage either. So, a custy at the bar asks me a for a dance. Of course I go do it and before you know I have the bartender and the waitress in the dressing room bitching at the house mom that I should be doing rotation if I do VIP dances. Which, I agree but it wasn't my decision to be taken off rotation. And to be honest, I don't see how it would be their business anyhow when their business should be behind the bar. A girl informs during the dance that the girls are in the dressing room bitching. I finish my dance and housemom is mad at me. I told her I had no problem going to stage. I had been drinking but was by no means sloopy drunk. So, I confronted the bartender alone face to face. I asked her why she did that to me because it caused drama. She acted very defensive so I just walked off and went back to the dressing then she came up there trying to fight me. I tryed to get dressed and call a cab but we were fixing to close. During the nightly meeting the dj confronted the girls and told them there place was behind the bar not worrying about what he does. And he apologized to me for not letting me know I was taken off the rotation. This was still upsetting to me. Now, I have to go back to work with people hating me.

Re: stage show
They are probably just jealous of the $$$ you are making in the VIP, it really isn't there buisness, and you should just stay away from them!!! If you are making $$ who cares who likes you, make the $$ and leave screw them

Re: stage show
They will be over it in 15 minutes when they find something new to bicker about. I think it's funny when people are watching me close enough to find something to bitch about, because it means that you must be doing something worth watching. A reaction is from an action, enjoy it. Go to work with your head up and shoulders back.
The DJ has your back because it was his choice. If the girls are still bitching about it, talk to him. He'll play them crappy music and they will learn.

Re: stage show
hmm.. heres a thought... pull aside a very opinionated co-worker, who you feel will actually sit down and listen and consider your side of what happened... explain to her the situation from your standpoint, then once she knows, you could ask her advice on how to at least get your dignity back in the club... someone like her will be great in encouraging others to re-accept you back in to the 'family'.... just a suggestion!

Re: stage show
Let em talk.... we had a meeting today, and our manager told us this: let girls talk about you, it's basically just free advertisment. guys are curious and want to see what people are talking about. If girls don't like you and are saying you give a "dirty dance" or you do things that they don't like, hey guys will want to try it out. He says that the girls that get the most shit talked about them at our club are the ones doing the most dances and it's probably just fueled by jealousy.
not sure if I said all that in a manner that makes sense...
