It depends on the state. Some states it is 18, others such as Arizona it is 19, and others 21.
Hopefully you are over 18.
18,in some states but you can't consume alcholic beverages. I've started when I was 20 and I tell you, it's hard to not want to drink, dealing whith the guys and the backstabbing of some of the girls. In this business becarefull of who you think your friends are... I'm not saying all women are like this but some are... Just keep in mind why you are there, to make money and go home, never tell your personal business and keep your boyfriends or girlfriends out. if this helps your welcome and goodluck!!!
19 here . . . (or at least it was when I started).
I've never heard 16 that would be very young.
yeah, I've never heard 16 either
maybe Traci Lords? (she got into industry at the age of 15)
In my area, you only have to be 18 (even if the club serves alcohol). I've never heard that 16 was a legal age to dance, however there is a club about 15 minutes outside of the city I live in where there is a 17 year old dancer working. This is not legal, but the club is outside of the city (out in the middle of nowhere), so they aren't regulated by the city laws, and the county doesn't do much to regulate them. Maybe some other clubs are also like this (no one really checks up on them, so they do as they please) but it is not legal.
She had fake id's. I don't think they would let kids get into porn.Quote:

Ok....I know that in Texas its up to each club, but an emancipated minor can work as a dancer at a non-nude club at 17. I did.
^^Gee, that's different.
Well, I'm pretty sure it's 18 here, since I started when I was 18, but I've run into quite a few clubs that won't let you dance unless you're 21 anyway. I think that's just because they don't wanna have to be babysitting you to make sure you're not drinking. I totally understand that though b/c I'm under 21 and I can drink all the time. Unless they were watching me closely, I'd always have access to alcohol. Who wants to have to babysit their employees? I don't get watched at all. However, I'm careful with myself and how often I drink.
16? Unless one's situation is like in the post above, I don't think so.
That was a long time ago. Her movies were pulled because they thought she was 18 when they were filmed.Quote:
