Newb question about dances
I've been dancing in the Houston area for about 2 weeks and have a question- a couple of guys have pulled it out while I've been giving lapdances and started pleasing themselves. I was wondering if I should charge extra for this or expect a better tip. So far neither one has cum on me, but I've heard stories from other girls. Is this regular behavior? Any tips?
-
Re: Newb question about dances
Oh yea... charge $10 extra for that... tell them if they pay you $20 you'll swallow when they cum ::)
-
Re: Newb question about dances
Hmm. Maybe they can smell the newbie on you (or do you tell them you've only been dancing 2 weeks?) and think they can take advantage. If you're willing to tolerate such behavior, hell yes charge them more. Although I'd be very careful if I were you. If that ever happened to me I'd immediately stop dancing, get my money from the perv, tell all the other girls what he did, and refuse to talk to him again. While it may sound like I'm a prude of a dancer, I'm not, I just don't put up with shit I don't have to, and you should realize you don't have to either.

Mean Cally... But also hilarious.

Re: Newb question about dances
Okay seriously... I dont know why im answering this question because its very trollish but whatever...
*IF* your telling the truth... stop dancing for the guy and tell the bouncer. What the guy is doing is umm just not right... and can get you in serious shit...
Though i've never had a guy do this to me and your saying it happens often... so im really not believing you and just want to see if you can get a reaction out of people...

Sorry, I'm not trolling. Extras are pretty common here (Houston), so I figure if the guys willing to do the work himself and I can make a little extra off it, I don't mind. I'm not comfortable with him going all the way, especially on me (that would probably get the bouncer called on him unless I was really PAID). I was just curious if this is something common elsewhere.
-
Re: Newb question about dances
Just because extras are common where you are DOES NOT mean you have to participate as well.

Because I've been doing it for two weeks. I wouldn't consider myself a real dancer yet, I'm between jobs and had bills to pay as well as some friends who do it regularly. I've made better money so far than at any day job, and now I'm curious about starting this as a career or at least for longer term than originally planned for. I didn't know there were strict rules to which is which.

Re: Newb question about dances
It may seem a trollish question, but it does happen a lot in clubs where extras are prevalent--like mine, fo instance, lol!
Even some 'upscale' clubs will have this happen a lot. a woman I knew worked in the nicest, 'classiest' club in a major metropolitan area, and she told me on some nights fully half the guys would blatantly arrange their dicks for maximal grinding satisfaction, and very frequently whip it right out.
Gross, pathetic--maybe--but apparently true in a lot of clubs.
Some newbies have a hard time dealing with it--though I would think it obvious that the correct thing to do is to tell the f*cking idiot to stow it, get a bouncer, or follow Cally's advice, haha...

Re: Newb question about dances
if you are actually dancing in houston, i am curious as to which club? in my experience even the most extras-seeking guys ASK what your rules/comfort level are before any dance/vip begins.
-
Re: Newb question about dances
it's very strange. as i said up there, i gotta know what club this is where men are so flagrantly disrespectful. seriously, guys usually ask, yes, even in extras-ridden houston. and that means you can say no to that.
as for bouncers, you are on your own in houston. i find the power of suggestion as to where your spike heel is going if they whip it out works wonders.

Re: Newb question about dances
Okay i'll give an inch...
You want to know if its common or considered extra? No its not common and YES it is considered extra... you run high risks of being fired, cought by the cops, get arrested etc for extras. You want to give yourself a bad rep? Allow it to happen... want to keep a good rep and make decent coin and not feel dirty? Have the guy tossed out of the club. You will make better money by having a rep of being a clean dancer with a sweet personality. In my personal experiance the only girls that give extras are the once who cant dance worth shit so do this stuff to keep a guy around.

Re: Newb question about dances
If you are doing extra, charge extra. Letting a customer masturbate during a dance is illegal. It is indecent exposure and lewd behavior at the very least.
If you are comfortable with a customer doing this, then charge him a lot. I mean something in the neighborhood of $100 per song. And that is if you are giving an air dance (which I feel is really the only option in that case). Neogtiate the cost of "getting comfortable" before the dance begins, so that there is no miscommunication.
I totally understand the extra's that are available. Just remeber that if you get arrested for prostitution, how much money will you need to get out of jail, hire a lawyer, pay for court costs?- all while not being able to work because of being arressted in the first place.

So far I've been working in two topless clubs in NW houston, I live up here and am not sure if I want to/if it's worth making the drive to the Galleria area.

posts like this make me think I'm not in the best city to be starting this career.

Re: Newb question about dances
Let me guess, you work at Diamond Club right? LOL!
Any guy who pulls it out uninvited should be ready for a stage heel to the groin. I know firsthand that here in Houston, LOTS of extras go on everywhere. If you see him go for the zipper and you are down, you got to negotiate $$$ up front. $20 is pretty standard for an HJ in H-town.

Re: Newb question about dances
I will say, that isn't so bad for Houston, I would imagine it happens more often to some dancers, but it depends a lot on the club.
If you're ok with it, I would:
1) not come in contact with him or his fluids even if you get 'paid'
2) get money and then some upfront
I would think of it like a peepshow, I see it as less of an extra than grinding. Technically this might be legal for a dancer under Houston law if you are the correct distance away, etc. etc.

The city doesnt matter... as i've said you can make more money by not being an extras girl... so what if the majority of the other girls do it, doesnt mean you have to. Give yourself a good rep of being a clean dancer. And when you get the funds together maybe look into traveling to dance. A lot of girls do it.

Re: Newb question about dances
hmm, that is weird, mcgee. but there are bunch of shitty little clubs in that area. you should come work at my club in the galleria. it's all nude, and guys will never do that shit to you. the nude clubs are much better re:contact than the topless clubs.
PM me.

Re: Newb question about dances
Cally, you know from chat how much I like and respect you.
But it is common in some areas/clubs (like mine). I cannot count the times I have personally heard about this, moments after it has happened.
Much as I find this to be repulsive, it's something the newbies in some clubs have to learn to deal with.
And it's one of the reasons so many newbies don't last--having to deal with assholes who automatically assume any and all dancers are prostitutes, or won't mind at all if they bust a nut for 25 fucking dollars.
I am prone to think the Spike Heel Solution is most appropriate, lol...

You certainly said a mouthful there!
If you are in this for the long term, you need to be prepared to set your boundries and stick to them. If you engage in behavior that leaves you feeling violated, then you won't be able to stay in this business very long. Alcoholism and drug use will start to creep into the picture just so that you can cope with your "job". It is a vicious cycle.
Very few women can do extras/ prostitution and still feel comfortable in their careers. There are the rare few "Happy Hookers" out there, but I think they are the exception, and not the rule. Most especially since you didn't sign up to be a hooker, you wanted to be an exotic dancer.
I definately have my price. Most dancers won't admit to that, but yes, I will engage in extras if the price is right. The earnings have to be commensurate with the distastefulness of the job. I have yet to find someone to offer me enough to engage in prostitution, but I have had been paid handsomely to allow some hands on action in the club (or in a private setting otc).
Spend some time reading here. Read the articles that are available on the home page. Take the Dancer Wealth class. Educate yourself, then walk into work prepared.

Re: Newb question about dances
Alright im going to admit.... I honestly thought this was a troll like post... I have never heard/seem of this happening so I figured it was trollish. Apparently it is common in areas of the US. I am sorry for attacking like I did. I was wrong and I stand corrected.
-
Re: Newb question about dances
Thanks for all the advice. I would have loved to have done more research prior to getting into this line of work, but I guess it's not too late to start.

No bad feelings here. I hope to post here a lot more, so please don't think of me as an evil extras girl. A lot goes on here, and I certainly have my limits, I just wanted to know what was considered commonplace or acceptable- in case i needed to quickly be looking for a new job.

Re: Newb question about dances
McGee it is never to late to learn. I've only been doing it 6 months... I worked in clubs for months before that(shooter girl, waitressing, bartending etc) so I had a good idea of what I was getting into. But I find myself learning more stuff every day. This industry is a never ending learning experiance. Welcome to the board.... Im sorry for attacking you like I did, I was out of line, due to the fact I have never had it happen in my club.. the guys always ask first. And no I dont allow it. Everyone has their boundries... good luck :)
