Now I must abase myself, grovel, cast dust and filth upon my brow, and offer to eat printouts of all the nasty things I have said about Country music.
(Though I do like some Waylon Jennings or especially Johnny Cash, if I'm in just the right mood).
Because I need the advice of all you Country fans out there, lol...
I'm not going to play it all night or anything, but I need to cater to the race fans. Playing a lot of Classic Rock is fine, but I need to throw some Country in there, too--to keep them happy and spending lots of money.
I'm looking for upbeat stuff, nothing too slow, and preferably with as close to a Rock sound as possible, so I can play it for the less versatile dancers (who are already suffering nightly, poor things).
Like the "Here For The Party" song is fairly good, and some dancers really like it, too--but the more rockish the better.
I already know about "Boot Scootin' Boogie", but would prefer a tad less of that sound--though it's perfect for the ones who like it.
A dancer I dated for a while had a cool Shedaisy remix CD that was really good, but I forget the name of it.
Any ideas?
