Waitress Question
Drink prices keep going up in the clubs around here, which I can understand (but hate). My problem is the waitresses. A beer is $4, but some of the waitresses keep charging us $4.25. I'd say they are stupid girls, since not all of the waitresses are adding a quarter to the prices. Obviously, someone who isn't wasted is going to notice that beers are one price from one waitress and more from a different waitress. The girls started adding to the price when the price of drinks went up - I'm assuming because when beer was $3.50, they could reasonably hope to keep the change from $4.00. Having waitressed at the same club, I do understand the frustration. There are some really cheap guys around here who won't tip at all. That being said - I'm not one of those people. I always tip the waitress at least $1 - not much, but it adds up if they keep bringing me rounds. However, these girls who overcharge me are really pissing me off. I don't tip them at all - lie to me and I'm not very friendly. Then I go find a waitress I know and tell her to take care of us for the evening. The girls I know who've been there a while, realize that I'll tip every time they come by the table, so they take care of us and everyone seems happy. So, to finish this off - I'm pretty good friends with the manager - should I tell him about this, or just keep finding a waitress I know?
