Hello to everyone
I'm from Italy, male, 30 yo, married with a fabulous woman and I'm sorry if my english is bad.
I had never been in a club, nor I have ever seen a stripper, but I respect stripper job. I had only be in discos.
I was re-directed to this site by a search engine, and I falled in a discussion where you were talking about what you call "stripper shoes", and it make me interested in this forum. I had no read other topics.
I and my wife like very much that kind of shoes, she has some pairs of them, some with 5 inch heel, some more with 6 inch heel with platform and one pair in 7 inch heel and platform, but she think the more confortable are 6 inch.
She feels very nice in that shoes, and she uses them very often, for going out in the evening, for going out in pubs, for going shopping, and so on. Sometimes for go to the office where she works. She uses them as often as she can even if pavement is not regular she can't walk comfortly and she gets nervous. She uses them with skirts, mini skirts, long skirts, pants, jeans... everything.
But she is not a stripper, she is an employee, why for american people these kind of shoes are stripper shoes?
In u.s. websites selling shoes they call them stripper shoes, in Italy are simply "sexy" shoes.
My wife knows that is rare to see a woman wearing these kind of shoes (here in Italy), because they request a great amount of equilibrism, but nobody thinks my wife is a stripper, people simply ask her: "how can you walk with that kind of heel?" or "Don't you fall down?" or "Congratulations, I can't", or "Wow, nice shoes", or "wow, that's sexy"!
She usually buy shoes from "Mi piaci", an Italian shoes manufacturer, and she doesn't need to go in a sexy shop to get these kind of shoes, she can buy them in shop that sell shoes with high heels.
I am not angry, simply I'm asking why you call them stripper shoes, becuse in Italy we consider them simply sexy shoes.
I consider that a shoe is a shoe, you can't determine what kind of job has who is wearing a shoe by the type of shoe.
Sorry for bad englis, i hope you can understand what I mean.
Bye to everyone!!!
Riccardo :)
