Where ya at AinNY?
Ray J's "One Wish" Remix by DJ Clue is pretty hot. If only Clue could one day realize that no one wants to hear him spit "DESERT STORRRRRRMMMMM" every 30 seconds on a track then he would be half ok.
I'm also listening to that new Ginuine album "Back 2 Da Basics" (Limewire that title).
Chamillionaire's new album has some nice tracks on it too.
These are pretty nice:
*Chamillionaire - The Sound Of Revenge - 04 - Ridin' Dirty Ft. Krayzie Bone
*Chamillionaire - The Sound Of Revenge - 06 - Southern Takeover ft. Killer Mike & Pastor Troy
The dancers at the club I frequent rave over T-Pain's new one. I wonder why? lol
*T - Pain feat. Mike Jones - I'm In Love With A Stripper (Remix)
These are also pretty hot:
*Pretty Ricky - Blue Stars - 08 - nothing_but_a_number
*Pretty Ricky - Blue Stars - 07 - call_me
*Avant ft. Lil Wayne - You Know What
*busta rhymes - touch it
*Styles ft. Akon - Can You Believe It (Prod. By Lil Jon)
*Reggae - Sean Paul - Infiltrate
Lastly, I am going to make whoopie with someone to this song VERY soon:
*ginuwine - Back II Da Basics_11_I'm In Love
Now let's keep this thread near the top please. :P It's the only Rap/Hip Hop thread in this piece.
I wish my club would even think of playing these songs..... I'm stuck in techno city :(
www.fupmob.com check out the track called bangin body, these guys are from my area and not national yet so i doubt you will be able to actually download the track but i just had to share!!!
I am listening to it right now. That's smoothe.
(bobbin head)
You've made me a fan. It's definitely music I'd bump in mah ride.Quote:

I prefer R&B/Hip-hop for dancing/stripping because the beat's just perfect for, well, you know... Really gets my hips grinding. }:D
Moneywise - excellent suggestions!! I've made some nice mixed discs and all my friends are like "oooh... I wanna copy!" :)
And my latest infatuation, besides Chamillionaire, is Young Jezzy ft. Lloyd - Tear It Up. It really made my man wannna do some thangs. ;) LOL
1. Mary J Blige - The Breakthrough - 04 - Be Without You (this is fucking hot)
2. Baby Bash feat. Marcos Hernandez- Mamacita (been bumpin this to and fro for a week now)
3. Duets - Notorious B.I.G. ft. Jay-Z - Whatchu Wantt (i'm going to pop a woofer playing this but it will be well worth it)
4. bubba sparxxx feat. ying yang twins - ms. new booty (certified heat)
5. TERIYAKI BOYZ- LARGE feat'n Pharrell (produced by the Neptunes) - (not mainstream but hot nonetheless...yes they're straight japanese) :P
i'm feelin this too and i heard her album is hot.. i love me some blige.Quote:

Seraya.
I am LOVIN' the Biggie duets and right now I CAN'T get ENOUGH of BE WITHOUT YOU!! 8)
Sorry this might be dissapinting, but I'm a true Hip-Hop head and I absolutely hate the fact that Puff produced a Big duet album. Puffy should be shot for that! I personally think he distroyed some of the most classic songs Big made when he was alive. Big was a lryically correct rapper with skills, it's a giving fact that he wouldn't of worked with all these wack, commerical rappers if he was still alive. But Puff is as commerical as they come, too bad Big became commerical too. Still one of the strongest rappers that produced great music of his time.
Sorry but I'm a hip hop critic, and I hate commerical rap these days. But when working the club, I like to dance to love making music hence old skool that is. Some of every thing is fine.
that biggie album is a fuckin joke....a disgrace....horrendous.
I was right there with you for a while, but I think we are seeing a major improvement these days. In every genre there are irritating trends, but with any luck they will fade away, or at least be supplanted or accompanied by other trends that make up for it. In rock, for instance, we had the whiny, groaning, slow shit that was dominating radio waves for a while, in techno the overly fast, cheesy, sappy sound, and in rap, well--I've said it before, so no need to get into it now.Quote:

I have no favorite genre anymore, but it's nice to have hip hop/R & B dancers requesting stuff that I can enjoy playing, and the crowd will like as well (not to mention management, lol).
Ok, these are my picks... keep in mind that I live in Oklahoma and only dance here and in Dallas ;) Here goes:
H Town- Part time lover... don't forget Knockin the boots, also! ;)
DMX- Hows it going down
Keyshia Cole- I changed my mind
Rodeo Style- Jamecia (Jasons lyric soundtrack... oh! If you think your lonely now by KC & JoJo on that soundtrack is good too)
Bedroom Boom- Ying Yang Twins
Da Back Woodz- Your gonna love me
LL Cool J & Amerie- Paradise
Jamie Foxx- Unpredictable
JayZ- Girls Girls Girls
Paid Tonight- Ying Yang Twins
So Seductive- Tony Yayo & 50
I'll think of more.. That's just what I can think of now ;)
Advanced Warning: No offense to anyone who happens to love the new "Biggie" album...
I'm wit **Dream** on this. In my opinion, this is more Puffy milkin the cash cow for all it's worth than it is a Biggie album. Hip hop has made such huge strides to cross such great social and racial divides, only to turn to sh*t for the purpose of generating a buck.
Doesn't Puffy have a bunch of people "on the shelf" that he could develop and put out rather than continue to ressusitate Big's classics? Big's Wax should be admired in it's pure form - as Big woulda wanted it. Not on some corny loop with Jagged Edge, for example...
Then again, as Big was gangsta, I'm not so sure he would mind Puff gettin that money.
Here's a question for all ya Big fans:
Do ya think Big (R.I.P.) woulda stayed signed wit Bad Boy if he were still walking God's green Earth?
So far, Mary J. Blige, Shyne, Lox (I'm sure there are others) have shaken off Bad Boy for being whack with the releases (and other reasons).
Personally, I think they woulda had a fallin out. And I don't think the
Notorious B-I-G would wanna be played like a herb.
Just my opinion.

Puffy has always been a little full of himself anyway so I am not surprised at all by his efforts to bleed the biggie turnip dry.
Nasty Girl (W/ Diddy, Nelly, & Jagged Edge)
Whatchu Wanttt (W/ Jay Z)
Hold Ya Head (W/ Bob Marley)
Breakin Old Habits (W/ T.I. & Slim Thuggaaa)
The rest of the album, to me, is lackidasical. We all know anything Puffy puts his hands on becomes commercialized so that shouldn’t be a surprise. If Biggie were still alive today Puffy would be trying to squeeze him into a shimmering platimum sequin moon suit for a video.

Do what it do (simply amazing)
The rest of the album is really good too. I just can’t stop playing the 4 songs I mentioned above.
