Curious about working in Canada. Is there a lot of red tape involved ? Passports necessary ? Mass amounts of paper work? I live in WA in the middle of nowhere at the moment. Advice would be nice. :) Thanks

You can work in BC...the agencies will overlook the nationality thing depending on how you look and where you want to work.
If you're willing to go on the road for 3 weeks at a time doing interior BC gigs, OR if you want to do floor shift at a bar they have a hard time booking, they won't worry about your nationality.
Middle of nowhere WA...unless it's Bellingham or above, Seattle will be closer and probably easier to arrange.
Legally speaing, US girls who wish to work in Canadian clubs are supposed to obtain a Canadian work visa. While US girls obtaining a Canadian work visa is much easier to do than Canadian girls obtaining a US work visa, it still involves paperwork which officially informs both govt's that you will be working and earning money in Canadian clubs.
In terms of the 'real world', Canadian clubs are much more likely to overlook the absence of a work visa, and the Canadian gov't is much less likely to get 'nasty' if an American girl is discovered to be working illegally in a Canadian club than vice versa.
