Re: Stores for Dancers...
I've never been there. i know I've paid in a bunch of ones a few times, people just assume I'm a waitress, I just smile and nod, I don't really feel the need to say, um, no, I'm a stripper. I'm sure I'd get a bunch of negative responses! not that I'd really care, but I jsut don't feel like being judged.
So, they may assume you're a waitress, but I don't know, is Forever 21 a lingere shop?
Re: Stores for Dancers...
Forever 21 is like H&M....a lot of cheap, trendy clothes....cheaply made
Re: Stores for Dancers...
yea and alot of the clothes at forever 21 are extremely skimpy...my best friend and I shop at places like that sometimes for dancer clothes
Re: Stores for Dancers...
i love that store... i haven't been there for a while.. i didn't know they had lingerie type things to wear to dance in.. i'll have to check that out sometime..
Re: Stores for Dancers...
I don't think that they are necessarily marketing to dancers, I think they are marketing to the every-girl who wants to be a dancer but can't, won't or won't admit it.
I think strippers have a much larger influence on mainstream fashion than most people realize. Dancers create a lot of fashion trends in the clubs. When someone finds a cute dress in a store and decides, "I look so damn good I think I'll wear this at work" what do you think is going to happen? Some girls are gonna take notice, they take the idea to another club, it spreads, soon everybody's wearing the same thing... TREND!
Has anyone seen the new hot swimsuit bottoms style? They're booty shorts. I remember when you were supposed to cover your cheeks outdoors, now these booty shorts are for everyone to wear at the pool and the beach not just the club anymore. There's a reason we wear them at work, they make our @ss look hot!
Why wouldn't everyone want to look like us! ;D ;)
