I am trying to save for some boobies and thought this would be a good idea. Wish me luck. and if any of you have worked there before feel free to post.}:D
Re: thinking of working at Hooters
I thought about working here as well. Oddly enough, alot of SW members have worked for Hooter's. The conclusion that I've gotten : DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! These girls are more catty than even the strip club girls.

Re: thinking of working at Hooters
I ate at Hooters for the first time a couple weeks back and I know I would hate it! I think mostly because of the shift in power where in the club I feel in control if I don't like what someone says I can say something back without a smile but working at Hooters I wouldn't be able to do that or would get fired pretty quick.

The Hooter's Employee Handbook on The Smoking Gun website.

My personal favorite part is the signature page where Hooters more or less asks prospective appicants to sign away their right to claim "hostile work environment" sexual harassment while on the job.

Re: thinking of working at Hooters
If you work there, don't quit your day job - or make sure to get another job to supplement your income. I worked there for a few months, and although the environment was fine, I found it very hard to make good money. Every Hooters may be different, but you were generally assigned tables by seniority or contests. If you got a bad section, it could be hours before someone plunked their a** down at one of your tables. Sometimes you will luck up and get a good area, but sometimes doesn't pay the bills.
