Table Dances??
Hi everyone!
I allready got hired to strip at an O.K. club in New Mexico and I'll start when I move down there. My question is, they told me that they do "table work". Being new to this, I have NO IDEA what that means. Can someone fill me in? Also, can someone give me some tips on how to do it well?
Thanks

Re: Table Dances??
I'm not familiar with "Table Work" if they mean table dances - then they are dances done for that customer at his table. I'd recommend just watching other girls and following there lead. You can also check with management - to make sure you follow all of the rules. And definately be sure to play up your uncertainty with customers...like saying how you are so new to this and need practice and have them help you figure out what is sexy...etc. customers love that.

Re: Table Dances??
If they do mean table dances, it may not be at the customer's table as the above poster says. In my state we do table dances (no lap dances allowed), and it basically means a no-contact dance, but it's done in a particular, more private area of the club. I know that the term "table dance" has several meanings. In some areas it is a dance done out on the floor at the customers' tables, some places it's a dance done in a specific dance area but the dancer has to stand on a little platform or table of some sort, and some times it's just another term for an "air dance" (no contact dance). I had to ask this same question here when I first started dancing! Anyway, I suggest asking the management, or the other girls if they're friendly. Yes play up your newness with the customers, but also don't let them talk you into doing anything that's not allowed. Sometimes they like to manipulate new girls into doing dirtier dances, by trying to convince them that all the other girls are doing this or that.

Re: Table Dances??
I have worked in Albuquerque. Table dances are the norm there as in all of the Southwest. Dances are $10 and done for the guy at his table. There is light contact, and the clubs also have VIP roooms where the dances are lap dances done for $15-$20 per song.
What club are you hired at? You got hired without going in the club?

Re: Table Dances??
I got Hired at a place called "Cheeks" in Santa Fe. Has anyone heard of it? I don't think it's very nice, but it will do. I didn't even have to audition, I just gave them my height and weight and they said I could start whenever I wanted to.
