i want a boob job! questions...
i want a boob job so badly! ahhh. i was ok with my boobs pre-baby; didnt love them but they were ok. but NOW after having a kid they are way smaller and just so saggy. i feel like they are just empty sacks. i took a few pucs of myself naked and i just hhate them; they look horrible. i'm youngish- 21- and i dont think its fair that i have saggy mom tits already. i would just feel much better about myself if i could have the boobs of sojeone my age again.
my boyfriend is very opposed to the idea but i dont care; they are for me not him.
anyway, heres some questions. how did you save up for them> & how much did the whole thing cost? are there payment plans? i
m just not sure how to save for it; like, i have bills to pay but i figure if i saved some money each month...
how long did you all save for??
any insight would be great!

Re: i want a boob job! questions...
okay, sorry to tell you, but if you have saggy tits, you might need a lift. I obviously can't tell because I'm not a doctor and you aren't showing your nipples in the pictures. But if your nipple is below your natural crease, then you have a condition claled ptosis. A lift will put your nipple in the right position. it also adds about $2000 to the procedure. So you're looking at around $5000-10,000 for BA and lift.
How do you save for them....there are a ton of threads about this. I saved for it by working extra and paying cash. If you are not being totally forthcoming with your earnings to the IRS (not saying that this is the case, just happens to be so with the majority of dancers), you shouldn't be financing a $7000 elective surgery anyway.
Re: i want a boob job! questions...
umm...well first let me just tell you that you look awesome for having a baby (and just in general!! :) )
I just got mine done on feb 21...I love them!! I got the tuba procedure (thru the naval), no scars and quick healing! It was around 5G's....I just saved up for them over the summer b/c I wanted them really bad.
They do have financing, and at first I almost only paid 3 and financed 2. for 2 years, my payments would've been around$200. it's not really that bad either way, but I suggest to just save. it's less hassle! lol...
anyways, feel free to PM me with any questions! I hope things turn out well for you!!
Re: i want a boob job! questions...
Emily is right about the lift....that's true, because it's hard to tell if they sag a lot b/c of the bra...
Emily how did your surgery turn out? I know we went the same day..saw the pics they look like they're nice!
Re: i want a boob job! questions...
yep, got my BA and lift on Feb 21st. Mine was $9000. I paid it all up front. I figured saving a couple thou in finance charges would be nice and I love not having a boob payment. I didn't need my surgery right away. I danced for years without nice boobs, so I figured what's a few more months. I worked very hard and made phenomenal money with my extra motivation :)
I had a reaction to the disolvable stitches from my lift, but other than that, they are fine. Perfect. I LOVE MY TITS!
Re: i want a boob job! questions...

It's very hard to tell with your bra on in the pics.
Re: i want a boob job! questions...
I got mine done about eleven years ago... and it was actually a birthday gift from my parents. I had hinted that I wanted them done for a while. At the time, I was just starting out doing some modeling for men's magazines and a few fitness publications, and I just wanted my boobs to stick out and take on a life of their own if ya know what I mean. So for a birthday present my folks paid for it...and if I remember it cost 4700 at the time.
Be prepared for serious pain. I wasn't able to do certain exercises at the gym for almost 6 weeks...and for the first few days I honestly thought I was going to die. I didn't take the painkillers either since they made me sick. I felt like my chest was as big as the prow of a ship before all the swelling and bruising went down.
I went from a B to a large C.
Most doctors have payment plans but if you want to save on interest just pay everything up front.
I actually had them done twice. The first time, one of the implants did not settle low on my chest enough so I had to have that one redone, and in the process decided to go up in size about 60 more cc's.
Re: i want a boob job! questions...
Agreed-you look amazing for having had a kid (hey your tummy is tighter than mine!) ;D !
If you want honest feedback, post a no-bra pic. I'm in a similar situation as you actually. I gained about 50 lbs. when i was 17 after my good friend shot himself (I was partly to blame). I've kept it off for years, but I'm 22 yrs old and while my tits look normal standing I'm really self concious when I lay down. it inhibits me sexually a lot. If it's that important to you to get it corrected, believe me i understand. I keep hearing because we're so young, the body regenerates itself after seven years but i don't know how true that is...thanks for the helpful info Emily.
Re: i want a boob job! questions...
I lost 50 lbs too...which is why I needed the lift. I went from DD to B (partly weightloss, partly weight training)....so I had DD of skin. Eeek!
Re: i want a boob job! questions...
YOu should have a consultaion with a PS. I had three kids and mine werent sagging enough to need a lift. It also depends on the dr. It is better to pay upfront, so much easier. But if you are gonna save to pay upfront, you also need to include the living expenses for about a month of not working. That is about how long you are out of work. Good luck
Re: i want a boob job! questions...
I had 5 kids and went from a full C cup to a B. I went for a consult at the Plastic Surgeon (PS) and found out I'm one of the lucky ones not needing a lift. Mine are costing $4200, under the muscle, crease incision, and he recommended 500 cc because of my breast tissue. Every woman is different. You need to go and get measured by a PS and most of them do a consult for free. I'm paying up front but most PS have a bank set up for payments.
Just go and talk to a PS. Its not going to hurt anything and you'll know more about your options after your visit.
