What Do You Think About Pictures?
First strip club I ever went to (Frank's Chicken House in New Jersey) didn't have private dances at that time (early 90s). What they did have was Polaroids -- $10 to get a picture taken of yourself with a naked dancer.
From time to time I've heard of other places that still take pictures, but I've never been in one. Do they still exist?
And if so, what do you think of them -- do you want thousands of naked pictures of yourself running around out there? Or do you care?
Re: What Do You Think About Pictures?
This wasn't uncommon when I worked in Ca, although I never worked at a club that did it (mostly nude) and I don't know if it's still common. I do know that The Rhino chain in Ca has features come to the nude (as far as I know only nude) clubs where they will take a picture with you for about $10 and up depending on the feature.
Re: What Do You Think About Pictures?
Nah, I wouldn't allow polaroids to be taken of me. I don't want dancing to bite me in the ass in the future when I'm settled into the career I'm going to school for. Polaroids would make that easy.
Re: What Do You Think About Pictures?
As someone else mentioned feature dancers will usually take pictures with customers after the show but I don't know of any clubs where the house dancers do it as a regular part of the job.
I would not personally for the reason stated, and you never know where the pictures could show up like "the internet".
Re: What Do You Think About Pictures?
Ten years ago, clubs selling customers Polaroid taken with their favorite house dancer were quite common, but in this age of the world wide web and available cheap color scanners which can digitize those Polaroiids I don't see it much anymore, and for good reason. Just as some dancers don't want such pictures hurting them somewhere down the road, many customers, particularly married ones, don't want to take evidence of their outings home where their wives may discover them.
It seems only feature dancers do the Polaroid thing now, and most guys who end up buying the Polaroids are young, single and aren't likely to face any significant consequences for possessing a souveneir from a guy's night out.
Re: What Do You Think About Pictures?
Big Louie's near Ft Leonard Wood, MO does this. The dancers are able to set their own price for the photo or not allow it at all--which I think is cool. I would only do it if it were like $50+ --that way I would feel it was worth it and not that many guys would probably go for it so there wouldn't be too many pics out there!
Re: What Do You Think About Pictures?
There is one club I frequent that does a photo op several times a day on busy days. The customer is seated on a chair onstage and all of the girls on the shift surround him and hang all over him. The dancers remain in there costumes. The customer pays $5 or $10 dollars and the dancers get nothing. Dancers are not obligated to participate but management definitely makes note of the ones that consistently don't. Most of my favs figured out a long time ago that they can turn their backs to the camera. You'll often wind up with a photo with a girl sitting in your lap, back to the camera, and four or five lovely but covered stripper asses in the shot.
Re: What Do You Think About Pictures?
Yeh, if faced with a polaroid or someone wanting to take a photo... nothing stopping you 'showing off your fine ass' instead of your front end nor having your hair cover most/all of your face etc. There are way to make this work without it biting you in the ass down the track.
Generally, photography of any kind is not allowed nor tolerated in ANY of the strip clubs I have worked within around Australia. If you want a photo, best to go to my website ;D
