Re: good night /bad friend
Let it go. Don't say anything to her, but don't help her out anymore. Now you know what she's really like, so you should maintain a safe distance while still being friendly. If she asks whats up, then say something, if you're comfortable with it at the time.
Re: good night /bad friend
It's annoying because I feel hurt and I didn't see it coming...but why ,ya know?
Re: good night /bad friend
I agree with Greggy...let it go but never help her out again. Maybe she's jealous that you have such a great customer and feels bad about herself that you helped her make that money. Some people are so darn insecure.
Re: good night /bad friend
Was alcohol involved? Maybe she doesn't even realize her actions were hurtful to you. Not that it's a good excuse, but hell I've been so fucked up after a few bottles of champagne....If it's bothering you and you two have been friends a long time, go ahead and get it off your chest.
Re: good night /bad friend
Oh my God, the same thing has happened to me recently! My former friend has always been a little insecure but I felt like it would pass. Everybody gets bad insecurity moments. But she took it too far. You don't want to see her get bitchy all the time even outside the club. That's what my friend started to do. I think you should back off the friendship. You can't cure people of insecurity. If she doesn't want to let it go then she's decided you are out of her league. That means she's going to keep taking shots until you become more insecure than her. All that pain is going to wreck the nights you work together.
Re: good night /bad friend
I always try to be nice and it's become so regular lately that I'm ready to snap right back at her...it's not easy being the ""bigger person when you want to bitch slap some girl.
Re: good night /bad friend
Yep! And that's why you gotta drop her. Keep being polite but don't hold coversations. It wasn't just one incident so now you know where you stand with her. Not for nothin',f*ck that chick!!! You don't need her to make money or make friends. Just smile because it will kill her to see you happy. She'll start to avoid you because she's afraid of you. Don't even look at it as being the bigger person. This is an effective weapon to fight back. Pull back and smille. She's like an attack dog who can't get to you anymore. Just smille while she jumps against her chain.
Bad news is you're going to see this again and again with friends and boyfriends. Always protect your interests first. She's threatening your cashflow? Bitch gotta go!:D
