so i sent an email
i sent a club an email last night. (before i learned i should just go there) it was like 2am when i sent it, so it hasnt even been a day. it was really short and to the point i just asked if they were looking for new dancers and if they were interested to send me an email back. so should i wait a few weeks if i dont get a response or should i be on top of it and call them like tomorrow. i know if they see me theyll like me, but im worried my email is shitty too

Re: so i sent an email
When I first started I also emailed them with a pic attached instead of going in, lol. No big deal really they emailed me back pretty quick and everything went well, but that was the only time I did that sooo...don't worry about it too much. If they don't contact you just go in person.

Re: so i sent an email
I would give them a few days to a week to respond, and after that, if you're really interested in working at that club in the near future, just call them. A few months ago I sent an email to a club that I might be interested in checking out this summer (not interested anymore due to new summer plans) and it took them almost 3 weeks to get back to me. Just call them if you're interested in working there soon.

Re: so i sent an email
ive done that before, but MY opinion is skip the email thing and head straight up to the club. there are so many girls that go up there personally looking for work, so they are probably prioritized the girls they've met personally over girls who send email. show how much you want to work there by taking your ass up there personally! show your personality and your looks! meet the manager! i just personally think emailing the club for a job isnt the best approach.

Re: so i sent an email
and oh yeah, once again, MY personal experience...the higher class, money making clubs are just gonna ask you to come up there BEFORE they hire you anyway. the clubs that hire you over the phone are not worth working at!

yeah ill wait like 2 weeks, or until i get completely fed up with my current job. whichever comes first. i was planning on heading up there anyway, i just wanted to know if theyd even bother wanting to see me. i wish we had good clubs around here. its really a limited selection, and if i dont get hired at this one its gonna be tough to pick a second choice. the best thing is this place lets local bands play and they let girls dance and do their thing in between bands on the stage and they hustle when the bands playing. sounds great
