Couponing 101 (Save Lots on Groceries!)
...and more help! I'm in a helpful mood today. I hope some of you can use this stuff.:D
Someone on another board I am on turned me on to couponing last year. I have been lazy and did not keep up with how much I have saved; but my freezer is stocked full of meat and cheese; and I regularly get items for under a dollar. Think about this simple rule: If your store has an item at "buy one get one free"; and you have TWO coupons for it;then usually the store will apply one coupon for each item. THEN; if you have a store that DOUBLES the face value of the coupon; you get even MORE off! It's amazing how much you can save.
I was actually able to send two ppl who are diabetic a FREE blood glucose monitor a few months ago, becuase of a coupon and an adverised sale. I saved them a combined $120.
I know this is time-consuming; and I personally don't get into it as far as many of the ppl on the boards below do; but even a bit of savvy know-how and one extra Sun. paper can save you tons!!

--Don't forget the "blinkies" in the store isles. These coupons are manufactures ones and can be used in ANY store. Check the deli and fresh departments too; sometimes they have coupons near the products.
--DON"T FORGET THE PRINTABLE COUPONS!! Some of these are great. Each of the below sites (I think) has a section in the forum specifically for printables.

Sweet! I'm a coupon-aholic too. Ok, I'm a cheapskate.
Re: Couponing 101 (Save Lots on Groceries!)
One tip.....with the coupons you print out yourself.....I have had a couple grocery stores not accept them. They have your name on them when you print them out on some sites, supposed to be a one time use thing. Well.....apparently people have abused it and print out alot of copies or photocopy them getting loads of savings. That's what I was told last time I tried to use one. So some stores will not accept coupons that you print out yourself. Bummer. >:(

My aunt is really into couponing also. She has received plenty of free stuff through rebates and other offers. This is too complex of a process for me,so I don't coupon.Call me a dumb*ss,LOL.
