And no I did not eat the placenta...
BABY GIRL!!!!!!! 7.14 pounds, 19 inches long. Wavy brown hair and completely, absolutely adorable.
I had her Easter sunday. I started having contractions saturday, then they got real bad and kept me up all night and I went to the birth center at 2 o'clock sunday and was already 6 cm. (I know there must be SOMEONE on here who is interested in this stuff..) and it was definately the most painful thing I've ever imagined. I had her in the tub and she was super healthy and alert and didn't cry. She wanted to nurse right away. Anyway I love her. She's perfect. And I'll post some pictures soon. Just wanted to let you all know. ;D
Thanks for the incouragement. Oh ya, no official name yet, we'll pick it by friday!

Re: And no I did not eat the placenta...
I totally missed that she was born on Easter Sunday.. That rocks! My second one was born on the 2nd of April, and the next day was Easter. I remember them giving everyone a little easter basket with candy on the breakfast tray. Heh.

Re: And no I did not eat the placenta...
Well I attached 2 pics, but I haven't done that before...so we'll see if it works or not.
Yes, I'm exhausted! But in love with her. She's very sweet.
The labor was tough, but the water was very cool. I didn't spend much time in there, but insisted on hopping in at the end. I think they thought I was crazy cause she was basically crowning when I got up and headed for the water. But holding her for that first time was pretty amazing, she sort of floated over to me and I lifted her out of the water. If the pic attached, you can see the big ass grin I've got.
I think it's funny how many pregnant ladies are on here. Rhiannon - congrats on the boy!
Oh ya, we named her Sofie Rose.
And oh my god she's napping and just farted so loud.
