Ok, so I've been dancing for about a month now. The very next night after my amatuer audition, I found a regular customer. He has came every night that I've worked clear up until present. Just recently, we've had another amateur start working full time (2 weeks tops). She's 18 and comes with ner mom and dad. I was the only dancer that my customer would tip until she started dancing, in which he would tip both of us. I was gone last Saturday from work. She had been told that said customer was my regular, and that it's rude to try and hustle the customer when the dancer is there. Saturday I was not able to work, so she was there alone with him. I just so happened to bump into him at the store today and I find out that she and him are going on a date on Sunday. Apparently she came on to him by putting her cell number into his phone by herself. She clearly wasted no time in getting at him while I was gone. She had very little time to actually talk to him and get to know him because he was always sitting with me. Other dancers have stated their dislike for her because she's trying to steal their regulars too.
I'm just wondering, am I over-reacting? It's not as if I had claim on him, but I'm upset that the minute I turn my back (or am not there) that she's all over him...knowing full well that he had been coming to see me since before she started. He's coming out tonight (she will be there too), so I'll see how he treats me with her around now. Is what she did a no-no (besides dating customers) in dancer etiquette?
