Re: DJ Stay or DJ Go...???
This should be quite interesting...
I'm not allowed to vote--that would be unethical of me, lol--but I will be keeping an eye on the results--no one has ever come up with a poll like this before here. Good idea, too.
Re: DJ Stay or DJ Go...???
I'm also prohibiting myself from voting, and have to agree this just might be really interesting to follow. Good idea Anney!
Re: DJ Stay or DJ Go...???
I havn't voted as I do not have a single club that I work within.
I've worked in clubs where there has been a DJ and there hasn't been one (or a computerised one as such). If the club is the type of club where I won't be on stage that often then having a DJ or not isn't any consequence to me as I won't be making my money on stage. In clubs where I am on stage frequently enough (even if I don't really make tips on stage), the DJ does matter .... however I prefer the DJ have his ego in check and some people skills.
There have been more than a few DJs in strip clubs I have worked with who lack people skills and thus I do not work in those clubs anymore.
Re: DJ Stay or DJ Go...???
I've worked with DJs terrible, great, and mediocre, and I will say that better no DJ than a shitty one, but a good one is infinity preferable to all other options; who the hell else is going to skip you on stage when needed or rile up the crowd? I also like that it lends more of a show quality to the proceedings. I just wish there were more good ones out there . . .
Re: DJ Stay or DJ Go...???
I'll plead the 5th column on this one too, but in all honesty some of us know we are not the show, but can make it better.
