Re: Extras with the hustle.
I charge for back masages all the time. Charge the same as yo would for a dance. Aso, start rubbing his back fo r a minute or two beofre you let hiim know you will be charging. Very few poeple think they need a massage, but as soon as the feel how good it is, they can't resist. The time yo spend rummbin ghis shoulders is also a good time to build rapport and make you pitch.
PM me if yo want to know more.
Re: Extras with the hustle.
id say for back massages you could get extra for but why would you charge them for a buisness card? i think youd get laughed at and called a snob.
Re: Extras with the hustle.
I agree with what the other girls said here. Charge more for a backrub and don't charge anything for a business card (they are, by definition, supposed to be good for business.)
One thing...a dollar for a specific type song? I wouldn't charge him anything if he's got potential to spend. And if I tipped my DJ a dollar to play a certain song for me, he'd look at me like I had three heads.
Re: Extras with the hustle.
hmm... could be tricky. like if all the extra bits are chargeable, what do you tip for? i guess we have different policies on tipping over here.
i think itemising things makes the club appear a little bargain basement-ish
Re: Extras with the hustle.
i think ur selling urself short on the massages
i dont think charging for a business card is a good idea...if done right, u should be getting more than $5 back without even having to charge per card
Re: Extras with the hustle.
Don't charge for the business card unless it has your picture & autograph on it. If it's just a biz card with your name & days & times you work, don't charge for them, the biz cards will help you get repeat business. I think charging for them would hurt you. I think charge at least what a dance costs for a massage and maybe charge more if you're doing a massage mixed with a striptease in it.
Re: Extras with the hustle.
Okay, thanks! I really appreciate everyone's help.
I won't charge for the cards and I'll definitely up the price for massages to the cost of a dance.
Re: Extras with the hustle.
It's all worth a try. In some of the smaller clubs I have booked in guys would pay $10 for professional or even digital pictures. Many would ask for them and several girls sold them regularly and did fairly well.
Experiment with the massages and such. See how it goes. Don't be afraid to get out of the box.
Also in some clubs if guys are sitting on the floor and didn't tip me on stage I would go around and ask them for a tip. 1/2 of the guys would usually give me money. I did this in Anchorage AK and in one month made an extra $600.
Everything adds up.
Re: Extras with the hustle.
isn't a lap dance a massage of sorts?

Technically, you do have to have a license to charge for a massage. (Is that just here?)
I've heard this too that either in the state of Nevada or in Clark County, that once you perform a massage for money, you have a license. Most likely this was a law created by one of the massage schools. What I don't understand is how a lot of the asian massage places get away with it. I highly doubt most of the women in those places have massage licenses.
Re: Extras with the hustle.
This is not just Nevada; it's like that in most states, as far as I know. You have to be a licensed massage therapist to give a massage for money. And DW, this license is not difficult to get; when you look at all the Asian immigrants who get licensed as nail technicians or manicurists without even learning English, I bet most of the ones at the "Asian massage parlors" are probably licensed. Even the ones who give happy endings.
Re: Extras with the hustle.
You need a massage license here in Washington state, but if you call it something different, such as "bodywork", you won't get in trouble.
For the record, some states are easier than others to get massage licenses. I had to work my ass off for mine.
Re: Extras with the hustle.
I live and dance in Reno, NV and all the clubs here have Masseuse’s on schedule usually 2-4 per club. I am one of 2 massage girls at my club. I dance 4 days at the end of the week and massage 3 days at the beginning. Here since we have dancer licenses (We are required in Nevada) and the club has us dress provocatively they can get around the massage license rules. We're technically a dancer giving a shoulder rub with a donated tip. We ask for $20 for two songs. Also other dancers are not allowed to rub custys shoulders (unless it's in the VIP) room because it is our massage girl’s job. On days that I massage I can’t dance unless it's in the VIP room. I sell a lot of these because they always want what they cant have. On days I dance the other massage girl is on shift so I tell guys as an extra I'll give them a full back rub with oil in the VIP room and I am very good at massaging since I've been doing it since I was a kid.
Re: Extras with the hustle.
I don't have a licence and they are hard to get in Illinois. (Lots of expensice school) But here we call them back rubs and I even worked in one club where you were told you could either give dances and/or sell massages. I have really good hands and people often ask if I ma a professional massuse or if I have a licence. I am always honest with tehm and tell then, no, this is for enterainment purposes only.
I understand that Scores Chicago (which is right across the street from me) works the same way Piper Pussy Cat's club does, with massage girls. I keep meaning to go over there and check it out. Hmm.... maybe tonight!
Re: Extras with the hustle.
Well, here in california you can get away with it to a certain point. a lot of people use that as a loop hole for prostitution. So if i just give massages at the club i wouldn't get arrested for it.
