should i have a boyfriend?
so there it is... He finally musters up enough courage after a few dances to ask... that damn dreaded question.. "so.. do you have a boyfriend?" In which i reply, "ha ha ha oh no, not me, i have no time to have a boyfriend with all this getting naked for nice guys like youuuu...." IM SO LYING YOU FREKIN IDIOT! OF COURSE I HAVE A BOYFRIEND! WHO I AM NOT GOING TO CHEAT ON WITH... ESPICALLY NOT WITH YOU! so then... after i lie... the next question... "would you like to go out for dinner / flordia / vegas / the back of my hummer?" um...NOOOOOOO! It seems like you can never win with this question... either you lie in hopes they spend more money or dont feel as bad spending the money they did, OR, you tell the truth and kiss the chances of making that big spender a regular. I hate these mind games. so guys do us all a favor.... DONT ASK IT! and if you do, dont expect to much. most of us dont like to date men that have seen us naked the first time we meet.... we kind know what youre after... it starts with a B and its not our brains. So, lets just have fun, drink and ill see you when the lights are black and the vip is open. thank you very much! have a goodnight! hope i didnt offend anyone... it is what it is. oh and sorry about the spelling.... :-\

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
You can always say you have a boyfriend, you are not happy with him, but you would never date anyone until you had really broken up. This way he thinks he might have a chance, but you will hopefully derail the inevitable invitations to dinner, etc. But sometimes nothing works, they are just going to hound you no matter what.
It seems like there is no really good, effective, correct answer--not for all of them, anyway.
I have been "the boyfriend" more than once, lol, and it is always funny to hear the various methods of dealing with this question, and the reaction to the answers.
One guy wanted to hire us both for a threesome. Me being sight unseen--and what was really funny is that he accused me of being homophobic when she said I would really not like it.

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
I have a boyfriend. I'm tired of playing that stupid-ass game. If someone is in the club looking for a girlfriend, they're generally not going to spend money anyway so I don't give a damn what they think. If you're a hot young chick, they don't really believe you don't have a boyfriend anyway.
When they ask me if I have a boyfriend, I answer yes. Then I'll usually lean in with a wicked smile and add, "But he's not here right now!" It establishes that I am interested in spending time with them in the club, but I'm not available OTC, and it puts the focus back on dances.

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
I had the same problem. Except when I lied and said I was single(to sell the dance and keep up the fantasy), the guy started going on about would I ever consider dating him? Is his weight a turn off? Would I allow him to show me what a caring man was? Date?
Blah, blah, blah. Cannot win! Dammit, even if I was single, I would date such a big ass slob like him!

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
Sometimes I will say "yes" to the boyfriend question....other times, if the guy is a super-ugo and pushy about a date, then I just tell him my "GIRLFRIEND" would not approve. So Mr. Ugo know's I won't date him, then I describe how beautifully sexy my "girfriend" is so he is spending more on the dances just to hear more about me and my fictisious Miss gettin it on. Usually works fine for me. Or if I know the guy isn't a big spender and ask the boyfriend question, I reply..."No, no boyfriend...my husband won't allow it!" Then I make a pouty face at him. Hehehe...Losers!

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
I have a girlfriend. Duh.
No more questions, and you're still hot.

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
Umm, seems to be lots of sausage in SG lately...

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
i hate that question, too! men ask me out EVERY SINGLE night i dance. one fucker last night didn't want to buy a lapdance "because it's degrading" but wanted to take me out. yeah right... and if it's so degrading, why are you at the stage for six hours??? negotiating that issue-- how to handle it when asked out--- is my biggest challenge at work. i don't get it. why complicate the fantasy and make me reject you? i've just been answering truthfully lately-- yes, i have a boyfriend-- and if the guy's just continually harrassing me to see him out of the club, i just keep a smile on my face and keep moving so he doesn't waste my time as i'm trying to make money.

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
I really don't have a boyfriend and when I tell them "No, I don't have a boyfriend" they never believe me, they'll say "you're lying, you're just saying that..." Yeah, whatever! You can't win no matter what you say! Even if you really are being truthful, you still can't win!

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
I wear my wedding ring so I don't have to deal with those kind of questions too much anymore. Now I get the "So what does your husband think of you doing this?" question.
Bleh!
Leogirl put it very well when she wrote "You can't win no matter what you say! Even if you really are being truthful, you still can't win!"
It's true. IMHO, as soon as a customer starts asking personal questions it is time to move on to a new customer.

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
WTF does it matter what your husband thinks? It's none of their damn business!

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
I say I have a boyfriend or that I'm married. Then it almost ALWAYS opens the door for, "what does he do for a living," "how does he feel about this," and "If you were my woman...."
I HATE IT, but I can't lie. Go to hell with the personal questions.

Slobs go to SCs to get their egos stroked bc they can't get it out in everyday public. So it's our(was, for me) job to lie....and make him feel like the hottest guy in there. lol

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
Dating someone or just got out of a relationship worked for me sometimes.

Yea, that is one line that definately gets under my skin. Sheesh, sweetheart, I will NEVER be your woman, so stop with the fantasy already ::)

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
I say I don't have a boyfriend until I finally get pushed too far then I tell them I'm married.
If I get the statement... "if you were my woman"... I cut them off and say, ..."and that right there is why I'm not."
Blunt but true.

Ditto! I generally tell them I am single.
If they ask me for a date: Thanks for the offer tho' I'm already busy dating someone right now so I'm off the market.
If they want to have sex: Thanks for the offer tho' I already have someone in my life who is fulfilling that need of mine quite well.

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
There's been times where I told them the owner's son was my boyfriend. He works with us as barstaff.
He's so obviously gay it's not funny.
So if they believe me, they deserve it.

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
Oh, when one woman I was seriously dating told the guy I was down in Florida, and worked in a stripclub, he went on a aggressive indictment of my likely rampant infidelity, complete with 'expert testimony' from all his friends, some of whom were ex-military guys (who had thus spent time away from SO's), who assured her that no man could or would ever remain faithful 1000 miles away working in a stripclub...
Meaning, of course, that she shouldn't either, lol...

Ay, desperation is so entertaining :P

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
I tell customers that I'm single and when they ask why, I tell them that I have too much fun being single to have a boyfriend right now. They usually like that answer and a lot will agree with me and stop asking me out.

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
I just say im 75% lesbian and 25% hetero.. and my gf get jealous if I fuck other guys. If they push I say 'well ya know maybe if I spend more time with you i'll think about it'. Hasnt backfired yet :D

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
Him: Do you have a boyfriend?
Me: I have a girlfriend.
Him: Girlfriend, eh? Is she hot?
Me: I think so.
Him: Is the sex good?
Me: Definitely. She rocks!
Him: So are you a lesbian?
Me: I'm bi.
Him: Do you two ever have a three-way with a man?
Me: No, my girlfriend's a monogamy freak and can get insanely jealous. That's why I have to keep all my extracurricular playtime confined to here.
That's typical of conversations I had, although sometimes they'd ask for more detail about our proclivities, or how into men I was, or some other stereotypical sex question for the hot lesbo chick, which so the f**k what, I'd simply keep the answers short without discouraging their imaginations from running wild. Regardless, I always tried to emphasize the same "talking point" -- I can only play here. When they hear you're bi and have a girlfriend, it's almost inevitable that the three-way question comes up, which is the perfect setup to explain you're pussywhipped. And that's a good point to close the sale before the conversation grows into a lifestyle seminar. 8)

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
yeah I tell them that I'm a lesbian and they cant really argue with that. that way they dont ever ask if I would date them or if they are my type or if we can go out or any of that. sometimes I make up stories about my gf and it gets them all hot thinking about "us" together.... ;)

Re: should i have a boyfriend?
That's a mighty interesting nic you've got there. /:O
Be careful telling the customers you're a lesbian... you might wind up with TaLlOnE. Ha.
