So dj's... I'm going to start at a new club and I'm gonna give the dj a list of songs I like to dance to. So he can download them and make it easier for the both of us. Of course I'm open to new songs and suggestions. This is a good idea right?

Yeah, its a great idea, hopefully the DJ will be cool and cooperate with you on this.
I don't mind at all when girls bring in a list of songs on their first night. It's actually fairly helpful. (Providing both parties are open to a little leeway in the negotiation process, of course.) Busy Saturday night and you want something crazy slow and out there? Probably not. A more mellow Wednesday, sure why not. The last girl that did this is actually a member on here. I highlighted the songs I didn't have, and she brought me a cd the next day with them on it. They were all playable, depending on the flow of the club. If, on your first shift, he doesn't have ANYTHING you like, I suggest you see what he plays that he thinks you might like. Hopefully he won't be a complete tool. Also take into consideration what the music rules are at different clubs before you ask for things that could potentially cause problems with management, ya know?
That sounds like a great idea. I should do that when I go back!
And if you want to get fancy, you can bring your music in on a little usb flash drive. (Provided they are using a laptop, and software like PCDJ) Girls are bringing their Ipods into my bf's club now too. It all works well as long as your tunes have good bitrates.
192 kbs or better is usually good for that. I have also noticed a growing trend of girls who are burning 1 CD with the Mp3 Files only (Not converted) which is great provided your clubs are using Mp3 Cd Players. This way dancers can store literally hundreds of songs on one disk.
