Girly stuff for audition---hair, make up & clothes (love it!)
Hey Ladies,
I am a wanna be in Miami planning to go to Scarlett's for my first audition. (In case anyone is familiar with the area and wants to offer their opinion.) I have a latin/indian look and was wondering what opinions you all had on girly details:
1. Hair- do you make more money/turn more heads with straight ironed or curly hair?
2. Make up- for an audition, do you want a cleaner looking face with lighter make up (taupes and bronzer), or full out Saturday night face (purples, blacks on eyes and "I spent the day on the boat" blush)?
3. Clothes- Do you have to wear undies that are lined for dancers? Are strings and stuff a pain in the butt?
Do you go to the club in a cutsie outfit and then change into costume for an audition, or wear what you would wear onstage? (Baby, this is Miami, we don't wear much to begin with so this is acutally a little tricky to me).
Do you usually wear a bra?
I am currently a starving (no joke) student, so if anyone has any insider tips for cheap dancer clothes in So Fla it is greatly appreciated!!!!!
Thanks Ladiiieeeesssss...time to get ready for Friday night of (unpaid) dancing. I look forward to having cash in hand instead of a free drink...

change into what ur wearing when you get there, no doubt.
yes, wear a thong made for dancing...the lining is very different, and you will learn that as you become more experienced.
my make up for work consists of a little eyeliner, mascara, foundation, some glitter above my eyes and on my cheeks, and some lip liner with gloss. nothing too heavy because it will get annoying when you start sweating.
as for your hair, i dont think it matters to the guys. whatever is easier for you to toss around while your dancing. dont wear it in a way that you will be paranoid about messing it up while your working, atleast while your 1st starting out.
these are just some things i would suggest while ur starting out. as you begin to get used to the stripping world, you could change up a bit.

Wear your hair down. Curly or Straight it doesnt matter as long as it flatters your look. Makeup.. if you dont know how to do it go to a mac consultant and they will show you what works best for your look. As for thongs make sure you dont have to have legal thongs in your area...
Do a search this has all been discussed :D

I went to that Scarletts as a customer it a really nice club, there are alot of girls there so where something that will make u stand out more. I agree that u shouldnt wear heavy make up but eyeliner and mascara are a must. Most girls wore their hair straight...so curly hair would make u stand out
Good Luck :-*

i must say glitter is a no no in my book, no man wants to walk out with glitter on them (esp married man) and have to explain where it came from. and we all know glitter does flake off pretty damn easily.
hair i'd experiment with, i do very well straightened and pretty shitty curly but i have thick long hair, so curly becomes messy very fast.
clothes i would wear something CLASSY but elegantly showy (of your bod) to the club and change into what you will dance in there. I'd recommend a cheap dress like this one to start, because it's sexy, covers up all and leaves a lot to imagination, yet gives a good peek inside on the sides. i have owned this one twice because i was so rough on it the first time it shredded, or maybe that was the dryer... hmmm:

good luck!
