Re: Tattoo what do you think??
ps. pic is pretty bad will look better when a real artist gets a hold of it. It was only done by free hand xoxo
Re: Tattoo what do you think??
I dunno, I think it would look cool if there was something non organic tying the leaflets together at the apex....like a sigil or something, or just something connecting the two but not similar to the two...
Re: Tattoo what do you think??
I think that's really pretty as is. I love 'leafy' tattoos like that.
Re: Tattoo what do you think??
i love it, i love it when people get tattoos they design themselves. it is so much more meaningful
Re: Tattoo what do you think??
I know someone who got a similar tattoo, a simple leafy/flowery design outline in black on her low back and it looks really good. I think that will look good and you could always add to it.
Re: Tattoo what do you think??
thats cute!
are you gonna have in black and white or will it be coloured?
Re: Tattoo what do you think??
I dunno yet that is my next decision. I am going to draw up a few more with diffrent colours this arvo and decide. I dont know wheater to have it in all black or the have the vines green and the flower a diffrent colour or what. some much i could do i know i just want it to be perfect cause it is a pretty big tatt.
any suggestions on colours ect??
Re: Tattoo what do you think??
If you find a really good artist to do it then they could really give it a great look. I think it's pretty.

Re: Tattoo what do you think??
i drew the tattoo on my back and had it put on. in retrospect, and many many art classes later, there are things i would have improved... but i still love it. not to mention there IS something really great about it being my own design. i like being able to say i did it. i plan on drawing a chest piece next. i think you should go for it if you really like it. if you want an artist to "tidy it up" a little more, go ahead. most will be perfectly happy helping you make it the way you want it. they might add a bit for "customizing" though.
anyway, heres mine just because..

Re: Tattoo what do you think??
it looks really good, but it will depend on what colors you use that will determine if it's not "ugh" in the end
Re: Tattoo what do you think??
I dont know weather to go all black or colour and then what colour if i do decide on colour!!! I love black tattoos but then i dont want to go with the general trend of having a black lower back tattoo. HELP!!!
Re: Tattoo what do you think??
hey what colours do you think will look allright. i was thinking of just going black but that is the next question i have to ask my artist. any suggestions?
Re: Tattoo what do you think??
well, what you want is really "fine line". you should read up on (try bmezine.com or similar sites) color fading. tats are traditionally "bordered" with black ink because within it, the colors tend to fade. there's arguement on wether or not it makes it that different, but a lot of artists will tell you it does. the reason i bring it up is because, if you decide to go with black lining, you're only going to be able to color in certain parts of the tattoo, unless you make the lines wider to compensate for the black. of course, many people have color without any black and i think it looks great, i just know there's controversy about it. i'm busy trying to determine how i feel about it myself or i'd give you a stronger opinion.
if you decide to go with colors for parts of, or the whole tattoo, just pick colors you think look good with your skin tone and compliment the design. look up a color wheel to see what goes together or ask your artist so you don't wind up clashing anything together.
