Re: Flint, Michigan area?
I am sure this is a really late reply...but I wanted to put my 2sense in. I danced at NathanJ's on a Thursday night last spring. It was awful. There was absolutely no crowd from 7pm until 1am. I don't know if this is typical...but the only guys there were young and there to drink only. A few older men got a tabledance or two...but every girl there was at their table....making it impossible to hustle them since they had the attention of every dancer. The girls were pretty nice (which is usually always a bad sign in my experience), but no $. DejaVus is across the street...but that is totally nude spread eagle which I never got into. I then tried Detroit, and found out that in the city of Detroit you have to get some sort of expensive license, and it seemed like a bunch of BS since I wasn't in town long enough to make it worth it. I tried my luck at the Flight Club instead. This club was not too bad but the clientele there are used to having their way in the lapdancing rooms...I had to pretty much pull a hand out of my crotch every second....and there was a ton of girls.
I am back in the area and need to make money...but I am considering driving to Chicago and trying it out for a week instead of going through the same trials all over again here in MI. If you want to join me let me know.
Re: Flint, Michigan area?
I strongly suggest traveling to dance. I've never been to Flint, but it has the highest unemployment rate in the US, with over 26% of the population living below the poverty line. The average for the US is is slightly higher than 13%.
If you can get out of town even for just a month, it would make a huge difference in your ability to begin earning right away. Try hooking up with a company that books dancers at clubs with a base pay, to help cover your travel expenses. You may have to go to Guam or Alaska or Texas. If you have never danced before, try doing ameture nights in the closest big city or maybe someplace like Ann Arbor where there is considerably more $$ floating around town.
Re: Flint, Michigan area?
Ok. Flint is kind of a ghetto area and the best topless bar is Nathan J's. If you don't mind full nude then head to the Deja Vu up there. If you're willing to drive, Ypsilanti deja vu is very clean with good earning potential. You could also head down to the 8 mile clubs, but they require a license. Go do an amature(sp.) night at one of them. Some clubs will pay for your liscence, but the liscence has to stay at that club. If you wanted to try another club, you'd have to buy your liscence from them. Or you could head down to the airport area or Lansing. Both areas have decent earning potential.
Re: Flint, Michigan area?
Onyx. For a full nude establishment in michigan Ypsilanti Deja Vu is very clean and decently busy (on nights). Have you tried Landing Strip or The Playhouse, both near the airport. Or Lansing. I heard the Lansing Deja Vu is busy, but dirtier. And Omars has the best reputation compared to the other Lansing clubs.
Re: Flint, Michigan area?
I've been at Omars' for the past two years, and its VERY slow right now. I been averaging $100-150 (even on weekends!?) a shift there and am now going down to detroit. Recently it seems like the only guys that come in will NOT get a dance, and if they do it will be one and no more.
Re: Flint, Michigan area?
DJVY is a great club, but not worth the drive. They have been very slow. If your willing to drive that far go to one of the alcohol clubs. Detroit card is about 250, Romulus is 125? I dont think you need one for the Flight Club.
I work playhouse days. No house fee if there by noon (all your money is yours), free lunch. The average between the girls is about 200-1000. And no schedule, they say manditory Sat. nights for new girls but I never did it and no one said a word.
Re: Flint, Michigan area?
Lol someone was just in my club talking about MacKenzie from DJVY working over at playhouse now. I'm at the strip, for now. I think Detroit dance cards are more like 325 - I know they're over 300.
Any idea on nights at PH? I've only been at the strip for about 3 weeks, but I'm not sure I want it to be my new "home" club.
Re: Flint, Michigan area?
Jillian! (Same one I was talking to at the bar last night?)
Re: Flint, Michigan area?
most likely...that's what I go by there...what's your name there?
Never mind I figured it out. How's it going, are you working friday?
Re: Flint, Michigan area?
Jillian you made my night! 24?! I love you.
I don't work Fridays. Too crowded for my comfort. I do very well Saturday through Thursday nights with a day or two off somewhere in there. I hope you stay. You're hot with a great bod. That and a smile go a long way in that place. Speaking of hot, you've gotta show me a pic of that Abercrombie model type bf of yours. ; )
On topic - Romulus (Playhouse & Landing Strip) requires an entertainer's license. The fee was $100 last time I renewed. You are also required to have a background check done. You can do this yourself online for $10 and avoid paying the bar more to do it for you.

You take the printout with you when you get your license.
Flight Club (Inkster) does not require a license, though I hear the city is considering it.
Re: Flint, Michigan area?
Most girls do better on the nights (sadly I am not one of them :( I have no hussle).
Re: Flint, Michigan area?
Hahaha. Michigan. Hahaha. That place is hell. Hell, it HAS Hell!!! :P
I would travel. And fast. Yesterday.
