Weight loss and sagging breasts
Everyone knows that your boobs get smaller when you lose fat. But why is it that they sag? Skin retraction always works well on the other "problem areas" like the tummy when weight loss isn't sudden...so is there a reason why breasts are so prone to going south when losing weight?
Is there anything you've done that has mitigated boob sag other than getting implants? Drinking lots of water or supplementing with CoQ10 for example?
Re: Weight loss and sagging breasts
It might be because unlike other fatty areas on a girls body (thighs, ass, stomach) the boobs dont have a muscle and bone infrastructure to "hold things up" - aside from the underlying pectoral muscle (which doesnt really contribute much to the shape or volume of the breast itself) boobs are just fatty appendages. I have small (large A, small B), saggy breasts. I once went on an extreme diet and my weight dipped under 100lbs (at 5'3) and boy were my tits perky. Well, at least my nipples were, my tits had disappeared entirely. With no breast tissue to support, my skin had retracted tight to my chest. Of course I was also a teenager and my skin elasticity was pretty good. Needless to say starvation diets are not a solution.
Boobs that start out larger start out with more tissue and more skin to hold it in. When the fat cells start disappearing, the skin that used to hold them in suddenly find's itself heading south cause there's nothing left (muscle, bone or fat) to prop it up.
Wish i knew how to fix it without surgery, cause I'd be 8k richer.

Re: Weight loss and sagging breasts
A few years ago, my tits really suffered after I lost 20 pounds. I went from a 36DD to a 36C and they were looking saggy. I started wearing a tight bra all the time, even to bed. I also started doing chest exercises with weights. This helped perk them up and a couple girls even thought I had gotten a boob job or lift.
Re: Weight loss and sagging breasts
When I take Tonalin CLA (3 capsules a day or more) my boobs tighten up. I've been going through cycles of gaining and losing 10 pounds in the past 3 years, so the change is noticeable and helpful.
Build up your chest wall muscles too, that will make a big difference.
Re: Weight loss and sagging breasts
I think because the boobs are the only thing on our bodies that "hang" all the time. With wearing a good supportive bra and really staying on top of your water intake and making sure that your skin is getting good moisturization (Tonalin or even Fish supplements) it will help the elasticity come back. No other body part is, usually, made to "hang". There does come a point where weight loss will require surgery to remove the excess skin, but that is usually only in obese people.
*edited to add: external moisturizing does nothing much for the skin. Skin elasticity comes from the inside out. So, making sure that you are properly hydrated and taking oil supplements would work very well.*

Wear a tight sports bra 24/7.
