Staying Positive
Last night at about 11:30, I was starting to get a bad attitude. I had counted my money and realized that I had miscounted earlier, which left me aggravated. It was time for us to do a hat feature, so I bought my merchandise and went to line up. One of our floor hosts told a few of us girls to go to this group of 8 guys who "all wanted to go to VIP." I went to the table, and we all went upstairs. Our VIP hostess informed me that our floor host had already quoted $150 for the hour (grrrr), so I was already a little more frustrated. After I had already not done the hat dance and went to sign out with the DJ, my customer decided he didn't want to be in VIP...so, I'm really pissed...I went back out to the floor, did one dance, then the floor host asked me why I wasn't in VIP. I was very abrupt with him and said, "My guy changed his mind." I stomped off to the next guy and asked for a dance...he said yes and I danced for him until my next stage, and he told me to come back. I did and I danced for him until my next stage again, and he told me to come back...I was with him until the end of the night and what he gave me more than tripled what I had before I met him.
The moral of the story...
Your next customer could be the one who makes your night worthwhile!;D

Re: Staying Positive
this kind of thing happens to me a lot and I remind myself of those times every time I want to leave early.
Like last night, it was one hour until closing and I had half of what I wanted. A lot of girls were leaving because it was dead. I actually was half-way debating doing the same but I left the dressing room to take "one last look" and immediately a guy pulled me to the side and wanted to dance. I asked him where and he didn't care, so naturally I led him to the VIP and I ended up making my goal (which is somewhat aggressive.)
yay!
